SmoothSkin Under-Eye Red Light Therapy Device, LED Eye Patches with 24 Hydrocolloids, for Dark Circles, Wrinkles & Puffiness

I just started using these eye patches as a part of my weekly nighttime routine. As someone who loves skincare and wants the most effective products but wants to spend as little time as possible on my routine, I love that these are super easy to use and only require 10 minutes. They are pretty comfortable to wear although they don’t lay perfectly flat on your under eyes.

I literally just bought these yesterday and I was so excited to get the package. I have a red light mask, but I can only use it at night and I often forget. The only real area of concern for me is under my eyes so when I saw these, I knew they were perfect. They are very easy to use and I could actually get some work done while they were on which is I think the best part of these. I also love that you can put them in more of the areas than just under your eyes, I was telling my daughter that when she has stubborn acne spots, we can literally just stick one of them and let it be there for 10 minutes, do it for a few days and it should work very well. I will update the review after a month to show my results for under the eyes

These eye patches are a great idea. It’s so nice to be able to do red light spot treatments. They are pretty lightweight as well. They do stick to my face, although they are a bit stiff so the ends pop up. While I think these are a great idea, they are not something I am comfortable using on my delicate undereye area. The hydrocolloid patches are extremely sticky, which they have to be in order to hold the rest of the patch onto the face. Because of that stickiness, when I peel them off of my face, it severely pulls my skin up with them. I’m talking a lot - it probably pulls my undereye a half inch away from my face. I’m concerned this could do damage and increase bags and wrinkles. Maybe this would be okay just on the outside of the eye and temple area to treat crows feet, or on laugh lines or on the forehead. But the main thing I wanted to use these for was for my undereye area. I cannot believe how amazing my skin looks since using these patches!! I was looking for something to help my crows feet without having to get Botox. Something I can do at home and not painful. This came across on my Amazon and I figured why not give it a go and see what happens. And wow! I’m so glad I did because it’s given me a major confidence boost and has made my wrinkles less deep in just a few uses! I recommended it, invest in your skin!

I've been using the mini red light therapy eye patches for about a week now. I have used it 3 times so far. I am enjoying it so far because I don't like how clunky and uncomfortable it is to wear a regular full size red light therapy mask. These mini eye patches are much more comfortable for me to wear while I watch TV or chores around the house. I love that these are wireless. I just charge them and they're ready to go in a few minutes. It is easy to push the button and they're on their own self timer, so they shut off after 10 minutes. They're a good size to place anywhere on my face, so I put them on my forehead, smile line area, and under eyes. I do all three of those areas in one session with one set of hydrocolloid patches. I also like how it is easy to clean. The hydrocolloid patches come off easily from the device and there is no residue left behind, but I notice that the patches are smaller than the device. The patches do not cover the patch area completely. I dislike the adhesive hydrocolloid patches that I need to use each time I want to use the device. It feels a bit wasteful and over time I will have to purchase more if I want to use the kit beyond 12 sessions (it comes it with 24 individual patches....so 12 uses). The patch refills look to be a bit pricey in my opinion. Additionally, the patches can sometimes stick a little too well to my skin and it feels like I am tugging too hard at my skin in the gentle areas, like under my eyes--which is counterintuitive to what I am trying to fix by using these eye patches. Overall, I like the device and I look forward to using this and seeing improvement over time in the target areas.

Good quality! Works in dark circles

This red light device is very convenient for targeting the under eye area. The light seems powerful and I haven’t noticed any irritation using it once per week. However, the device only works with proprietary gel refills and there’s no way to use it without them. The device itself isn’t cheap so it seems pretty steep to pay so much for continued use. To make matters worse you’re supposed to do a patch test with the gels but they don’t give you extra for that purpose.
