I wanted to like these non-residue security seals, and for some applications they work great. However they also leave a lot to be desired.Pros: I've never had them leave any residue behind when lifting the sticker. The duplicate serial number sticker is also very good for attaching to your seal documentation. Seem to stick to: finished wood (door trim), glass, and any other non-porous surfaces.Cons: They self unfix themselves from a number of surfaces. So far I've had problems with paper and unfinished metals. Also non-flat surfaces can be problematic, especially if the label has to conform to a non-flat surface along it's narrow axis. Porous surfaces of any kind give these stickers major problems.

I used these on fine furniture drawers and doors to know if they were opened by the pet sitter while we were away.Perfect solution - They can see the seal, it is impossible to remove without very clear evidence of tampering on the numbered seal and when you peel it off it leaves nothing on the furniture or door frames.

Great stickers.
