This is two of the purple bulbs in flood light holders/stands along with a programmable flood light on the porch roof. The green color on the sides are other type of floodlights. Love these bulbs. I have the programmable type too but these outshine them…they are just so bright! If you are going for intense color..these work!Eek! I forgot that I use Halloween light Gels with the spot lights. I use the purple color and I tape part of a sheet to each bulb and that will give you the intenser color we all want on Halloween. The bluex bulbs are a little lighter than I need..adding the film/gels fixes the problem and the films are inexpensive..sorry I forgot to mention them. This makes them a perfect Halloween purple.I only use these for Halloween and I do use them in light rain..but if it’s going to pour, I leave them off and cover them to keep them dry (while they are OFF in the rain I cover them with a ziplock bag slipped over the top, works great). It tends to be dry here in October, so hardly ever do this. I’ve had this set now for 3 Halloweens, I bought a second set but have yet to use them. I’m careful with them and keep them in their original package.

These lights are very colorful and not extremely bright. Definitely makes a statement for our home and for Halloween.

I’ve purchased various colors of these for our front patio. We use them for every holiday. Blue, purple, green,and red. They are awesome and very bright

100 watt PAR 38 halogen lamps put out approximately 1800 lumens. These actually are advertised as putting out 1500 lumens making them about 83 watt equivalent.Lenses are shown colored but are actually white when not lit. They do put out the right color when lit, just not the advertised halogen lumen output.Overall still happy with them so far.

So many lights are advertised as purple but end up looking more pink tone. These are the perfect purple for Halloween!

The worst! We bought purple for Halloween & only used them for 4 days outside. The metal part started to corrode. One stopped working before it rotted completely. The other one worked for a couple more days before it went out. When I unscrewed it and it had a hole in the metal, and looked like it caught on fire. And the bulbs have condensation in them. Poor quality, don’t waste your money like I did.

Chose the purple and it's out front of our house lights up well and the purple hue is soft over the front plant making them look really cool.

Bought a pair of each Red and Green as at the time getting them separately was somehow cheaper than the actual R+G bundle (was $105 at time).Installed them in my porch receptacles even knowing that they are more for flood light purposes, but seem to be the best option with dimming capabilities.At first it was had to tell the color of the lights as they don't have a colored lens, they're clear. There's little writing on the base that indicates the color. The red is a bit more noticeable with a red led inside showing.Lights are super bright, can see my place from afar.The only unfortunate thing, is that when I try to dim them, the green overpowers the red, so then everything just looks green instead as shown in my photos.Maybe it's due to my sockets are not all evenly spaced.
