For the price, this is very good
For the price, this is a really nice, 8u desk rack. I bought it to house some rack mounted networking gear, inside a cupboard. The only drawback was that it leant backwards slightly, as these type of racks often do. To get round this, just remove the rear plastic feet and fit a pair of adjustable m5 feet and then you can use it fully upright. There is even a hole where the old feet were, so no drilling. You will only be able to fit a medium to short depth device in the bottom rack, but straightening it up, means that you can use a longer device on the top shelf. Works well with the add on TecMojo shelves.Build quality is unexpectedly good at this price. Nice thickness of steel, and everything went together easily. Not much in the way of sharp edges, but mind your fingers on the cage nuts, they are sharp, but install easily without any tools.Once you have a couple of shelves or devices in there, it is solid and doesn't move. There are not enough screws and cage nuts to fully populate the rack, looked to be 3u worth of them, but at this price, it is not a problem. If you just need something simple, this is worth a look.

Works fine
Great value for money item. It suits my purposes for my home recording devices perfectly. Note that the supports aren't vertical, so the items in the rack slope back and nothing deep could use the lowest U.

Affordable and practical
An affordable solution to rack audio-video or music production equipment. After the rack is filled with units the whole system is quite stable. It has little rubber feet which grip to and protect your desk from scratches. The open frame of course offer good ventilation and I often the look of open frame to boxed-in solutions. Maybe a few more cage nuts and screws or even washers would have been nice but if you already have racked equipment, like me, you may already have spare bits and bops.

Solidly built
Great rack, well made and solid, with rubber feet to protect surface it sits on.4star as it would be better to include enough rack nuts and screws to fill with 1u devices, seems a bit mean to only have 10, and no washers to prevent rack rash. Luckily I had some spare to use.

Quality open air racking!
I got this as I have got some components which are in a loft space, there isn't enough space for a full size rack because of the loft height, also there isn't enough support to hold the full weight, so this open air/ half rack is perfect for this sort of application. The whole unit comes nicely boxed, the parts are all made of thick, strong metal. This metal has had some great finishing done to it as the edges have been rounded off and the paint is super thick and robust, even when having screws and rack studs scraped against them. The unit goes together with a number of screws, the whole thing took me about 5 minutes to put together using the included manual. Once together, it takes on a good amount of rigidity and holds its shape great. I have combined this with a TecMojo shelf and patch panel and this has given it further rigidity once I have started to fill the rack. The racking is perfect for a lightweight solution for hard to reach places like the loft space I am putting mine into, it also makes the perfect spot for a home lab which is on your desk. This helps tidy up the network pile and also helps protect equipment. The racking has been perfect for the few rack mount pieces alongside the shelf mounted NAS I am using.Overall, for £29, this is an excellent half frame/ open air frame rack, it its really well built with solid metals and the metals are finished really well! I can highly recommend this to any home labbers or people with limited space! 5/5!

Handy desktop Rack
This is a really nice quality desktop rack, perfect for configuring kit that is going be installed in a different location. It's really sturdy and can hold full-size switches easily and securely and would be suitable for a temporary network installation if you don't have the need for a cabinet.

Fantastic little rack
Picked up this little rack to use in one of our satellite offices to house the networking equipment including a couple of switches, patch panels and a router. It comes flat packed and is extremely quickly assembled with a few bolts into threaded holes. Once assembled it's quite sturdy. Would fit on a desk no problems - we sat it on a small chest of drawers. While it would seem that it could be quite flimsy, once hardware is mounted it's surprisingly rigid and holds everything securely and at a convenient angle to access ports from above. The whole thing is powder coated and the finish seems very durable. Some included cage nuts and bolts seal the deal (though we use dev.mount kits so not used here).Would happily buy more if the need arises.

Good looking, solid and easy to put together
I got this for a few rack mount analog synths and FX racks I have and it really does the job nicely. Putting the rack together was easy and all the parts were in good condition and well finished. Everything slotted in first time and there's no shake or wobble. Terrific value compared to other available options and would very gladly buy more.
