I bough this to replace my original apple adapter that I lost. I purchased this because it's cheaper than the one Apple makes. I tried to use this, but after about 30 seconds of usage, my phone says, "this accessory is not supported" and stops working. I don't recommend this item because you are likely to experience this major issue that will prevent you from being able to use this product.

These lightning adapters have an issue where they are “not recognized devices” with three separate IPhones I have. None of the iPhones would connect to either headphones, or two separate vehicle radio headunits because it wouldn’t recognize it. The only reason I didn’t return is because I could not find the second one that it came with. I just threw the one away. You get what you pay for.

The two devices arrived ready to go. It does not work! It does not work with my iPhone. I plugged it in to use it with a selfie stick. Nope. No response. Nada! And then I plugged it in to use with headphones. There was a hint of sound coming from my iPhone. The headphones would not work with this device. Both devices failed. So beware! Sorry to have had this experience. I would give this 0 ZERO stars.

I bought this for my wife who has an iPhone 7. Unfortunately after the iPhone 6, they took away the head phone jack outlet so they included an adapter. She lost it. So I bought these because 2 are better than 1! After she plugged one in, she got a message on her phone from Apple that "the appliance is not compatible with her phone". So I called my friend that works at Verizon and he laughed saying unless you go to an Apple store and pay $15, it won't work. It has to be an Apple approved adapter. What a rip off!!! That's why I have a 6.

We tried them on iPhone 7. They don't work. Useless waste of money.Don't be stupid like I was. Don't buy.

The adapter works about 60% of the time, and constantly gets errors when walking when using it. The iPhone gets a message about this accessory is not supported by this iPhone and stops working (as if I disconnected the headphones). I do not recommend these since they only work well when perfectly still. The sounds is good when it is working, however at times a electronic buzz is present.

I bought the 2 pack of lightning earbud adapters because they were the last expensive on Amazon and I got exactly what I deserved. Neither one worked right out of the package. On both my iPhone 7, 8, 8 Plus, and XS, every time the item is plugged in, within 10 seconds the phone displays the dreaded "This Accessory is Not Supported" pop-up.And guess what, when I click on return item it say NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN. How is this sold as an Amazon Prime item and no returns accepted. I am contacting Amazon. Could not be more disappointed in this seller and Amazon. This item should not be allowed to be sold here.Total garbage. Not authentic or OEM. Do not buy these.

Though these arrived on time, they are not compatible with my iPhone. I bought these to use my phone’s music in my car - I don’t have an aux headphone jack in my 2002. They also didn’t work with my job’s aux cable for our stereo. After less than one minute of playing an error message comes up.
