Wunderlich Universal Motorcycle Fully Adjustable Windshield Wind Deflector, Clear Version

This helped, but I'm still plague with bugs. If I were to guess, it cuts off about 25-50% of them. I think it all depends on your motorcycle model. I installed this on a 2013 Honda CBR250R, and the windshield on the bike points right toward my neck. So the little deflection helps, but I can still see bugs coming straight into my motorcycle face shield.For the CBR250R, the best option is to replace the windshield with a larger one, and more importantly, one that angles upward more. I am researching them now, and I found 1 or 2 that might have this effect. The windshields cost less that this deflector, so that is a better option. Since I have the deflector, I would use it on a higher windshield anyways, but by that time, I will have spent over $200 total for both items.It's a good product, but it depends on your motorcycle and your height, and compared to the price of windshields, it is about twice the cost it should be.

I think any wind director will help to deflect excess wind. This one is no different. Well-made. I didn't give it a 5 because of the high price for such a small item. Good adjustment ability. Haven't made many adjustments, but it's working fine so far. Attachment pads help to protect your original screen. Be careful not to tighten too much on your screen. Follow directions, and you will be fine. Looks good on the bike--depending on your taste.

small pieces hard to hold while installing or removing, as in the small metal push plate shifts or falls thru your fingers putting on or off.metal push plate smaller than my little finger nail needed to be bonded with adhesive to rubber cushion to stop this.Also took quite a 'visual' adjustment to adapt to the mounting unit directly in the line of sight. Need to teach the brain to ignore it.Also sent me the tinted visor instead of the clear plainly ordered, and wouldn't work with me to just send me a clear plastic. So after a frustrating 3-4 weeks, just sent it all back to find something else. My experience is tainted with the residuals of the dealings, therefore I only grade this a ''C''. If wind bothers you, it is a cure for irritating buffeting.

Everything in order, delivery on time, good product quality, original Wunderlich product. I can recommend it, easy installation and ready to go!

Even though my motorcycle already has a Givi taller windshield, that is not enough for my height (I'm 6'1" *with no* boots) and either suffer of wind buffeting or way too much noise in the helmet.After reading the reviews here and in advrider it sounded like a no brainer to get one of this windshield extensions. I planned to use it in this weekend and ordered the item in Wednesday. It arrived in late Friday and boy, I was really excited about it.When I opened the box, here comes the surprise. The aluminum part featured dents on its internal bracket... not only that, but in its body there were stains that either are scratches or simply rust stains. Even one of the screws was all covered in rust!I moved my attention to the lexan windshield and here comes more nasty surprises: there were scratches on the shield and on its very top, a discontinuity that seems like a defect. I uploaded photos showing all the defects for people curious about it.Trying to contact the seller didn't help too. The only option available is to simply return the product, there is no way to ask for a replacement, which I did and will return this piece of... *disappointment* this week. What happened? Did they sent an used part? Or are this defects the rule in all the parts they sell to Amazon customers?It was the first time I ordered anything from Wunderlich and for sure it will be the last. It is an expensive item for what it is (a mount/bracket + lexan piece) and it is unacceptable such horrible defects. Next time, I will order a Givi windshield extension and call it a day.

I was surprised that the Allen wrench wasn't included and the instructions were very vague. There are small pieces of foam rubber, metal, foam rubber with a stick on removable tab and a paper of some sort with a stick on tab. The drawing sketch, with multiple arrows, is confusing. The product itself is top rate.

Mounted on a MRA Customshield on a Hyosung gv250. Completely changed riding experience in a positive way. Much less wind noise and head buffeting. I was somewhat skeptical but pleasantly surprised that such a small piece of equipment could make such a big difference. Installation was easy.

The Wunderlich wind deflector works ok, but really is not worth $135, PLUS Shipping! It might be worth $85 delivered! But then again, if you have money you do not need; go ahead and drop some on this over rated and over priced piece of Polycarbonate and molded aluminum bracket! I gave it two stars, because they didn't have half stars, or I might have given it a 2 1/2 star rating.
