Totally adequate for guitar and instrument repairs / upgrades. Does a good enough job for an amateur and the included multi-meter was cheaper than buying a different kit and one separately.

Everything arrived quickly, and everything was inside. - The case is higher quality than expected, and the items inside doubly so for the price. - In particular, the swapping screwdriver has quickly become my go to screwdriver, as it has handled all of my tasks with ease, and some of them were exerting a lot of force that my more expensive screwdrivers may have struggled with. The multi-meter works well. - Again, much better than I was expecting at this price point, and the soldering iron does it's job...In the longer term, I expect that the soldering iron (and particulararly it's holder) will be the first item to be upgraded, but it's still honestly worth buyiong this set as a starter for yourself or a daughter who is into STEM for the case, the rest of the items, and a good working starter soldering iron. Recommended.

The set has almost every tool you might need, the kit does include everything seen in the photos, and the soldering iron doesn't have any issues with temperature, it heats up quick and works perfectly. the included solder isn't poor quality, I have had no issues with any of the solder connections I have made.I can't comment on the desoldering pump unfortunately as I have never had to use it.The multimeter works well, though it has a short battery life, but the batteries are easily changeable.the only reason for 4 stars out of 5 is the lack of wire strippers, I ended up purchasing a pair seperately but the plus side is that they fit nicely into the kit so I don't lose them.

I ordered this soldering iron kit for my teenage Grandson to encourage him to be creative as he starts to discover electronics & electrics.This kit has everything you would need to complete an electronic kit, from the basic ones to some more complicated ones. The soldering iron & multi-meter are very good for the price & work well. The whole kit comes in a zip case with a basic instruction leaflet plus a safety warning card for the sharp & hot tools. There are lots of bits & pieces included & it is very good value for the price, as a complete starter kit for STEM projects.

The soldiering iron heats up in seconds. The digital display is very useful and allows you to precisely adjust the temperature. The quality is superb. It comes with digital measure which others don't give this. Especially for this price. All packed in very nice bag and delivered the next day. All superb. Highly recommended. Thanks.

The kit itself seems pretty good for the cost certainly more suited to "lightweight" rather than heavy duty stuff. However, I sent the first one back because according to the accompanying leaflet and available images it was apparent that the base for the soldering iron stand was missing as was the tube of solder wire, the replacement though was exactly the same parts missing so I guess they'll all be the same. I can accept the missing solder as there's always some knocking about but the missing base is a bit of a pain in the backside

This is a full kit of everything you will need for doing precision soldering. The soldering iron works well and the heat control is good. The side cutters aren't best quality...but functional.

This is a great starter kit for learning to solder, it has everything you need (minus scourers or a magnified stand although they aren't necessary), the only two issue and hence why its not 5 stars is the instructions aren't very good, they just give you the basic facts and wish you good luck, although youtube has thousands of great videos to help you out with that, also the solder tips aren't very high quality, I've used the flat tip for a week and its already breaking down at the tip of it, id recommend finding some higher quality ones with the same dimensions.
