I have used tempeh many times when I lived in Wootton Bassett and I bought it from a local health food shop. I mainly use it in curries because I found that it needs flavouring up. Since moving to Cornwall I have not found anywhere locally that stocks this, so I found some on Amazon supplied by Bertes Biscuits.I made a curry as per usual and the addition of the tempeh was disastrous. It produced a very strong 'soapy" taste which totally over whelmed all the other flavours so much so that we had to through away the curry and I have had to through away the tempeh as well. I won't be buying this again on the inter net.
