Vote Helpful for The Secret Family Recipe
For fun, we make homemade gummy bears using a secret family recipe. My kids really enjoy them and the molds are easy to clean when done... and release even the teeniest of Bears with ease.Now... for the secret family gummy recipe.1 3oz box of Jell-O (generic is fine, sugar free is a crime against nature)1 packet of unflavored gelatin (they’re sold in little packages that are about the size of a package of yeast. Generic is fine).1/2 cup of cold dihydrogenated monoxide (again, generic is fine). In a sauce pan, before place it on the stove, mix the Jell-O, gelatin, and dihydrogenated monoxide until well combined. Place sauce pan on stove on heat (I try to do 6, but adjust as you will). Keep stirring until it all granules are melted and combined, and you can see it’s thickening up.Using the dropper, fill the molds and then leave them to set. I toss mine in the fridge to speed up the process. Once set, serve!Side note: found a red one under the bed. It was like a perfect little plastic gummy bear... and I made these 3 weeks ago... so I’d probably consume them before then.Store in the fridge, probably. I don’t know. My kids wolf them down.Second side note: the bears are super small (think ring finger nail) but that’s part of the appeal. 1mL

Small Silicon Molds
I bought these silicon molds for Keto snacks that I make. I especially wanted the gummy bear molds because I have a Keto recipe for them.Pros: The molds are very flexible, no white showing in a pinch test, and food items pop out easily. Pop them in the top dishwasher rack for easy cleaning.Cons: The cavities are much smaller than expected. The gummy bear cavities are half the size of a gummy bear you would buy in the store.I will probably use the molds for ice cubes because they are too small for anything else that I make.

Lots of fun!
These are fun and very easy to use.We made different color gummies with them.We filled them and it was easy to sit in the fridge. They fit well on a bigger size cookie sheet.

Easy release, easy to clean, sturdy
I bought these for making elderberry gummies and I was really impressed with how easy it was to get the set-up gummies out. Clean up was a breeze because no food got stuck on the molds at all. They seem sturdy, too.

Granddaughter loves using these
My 3 year old granddaughter and I have such fun making gummies together. These are great molds. The bear mold makes tiny bears. I would prefer them to be little bigger, like the other shapes in the set. Even so, the set is great.

Okay trays
The gummy bear mold is super small, making it very hard to remove your gummies from the tray, alot of mine ended up tearing. Still, good silicon trays, clean up is a snap!

Nice but used
Obviously these were previously used since I had to soak the red jello like stains from them!

Works well so far
I like these! I bought them to make goodies with my nieces and these seem like a good quality. My niece has been so excited she has been playing with them (filling them with water, etc).
