A4 Clip Frame (Perspex) 21 x 29.7 cms

I ordered this to put a large photo collage in, and I didn't want to have to trim the image. Whilst the metric size is exact, the imperial size isn't and therefore the poster was 12mm too large in the width, and 8mm too large in the height. This was annoying as I had deliberately asked on Amazon if the size was approximate or exact. Too bad I didn't specify that I meant the imperial size as although the metric is spot on, be aware that the conversion of 30" x 20" should be 76.2 x 50.8 NOT 75 x 50.Next we come to the quality. Previously, I bought the same size clip frame in a store. This had a good quality thick plywood backing board, and a glass cover. I was unable to source from the same store, so purchased this alternative. Unlike some people, I had no problem with the perspex being scratched or "foggy" although I suspect many of these people have not removed the clear protective film from both sides. The perspex, (if indeed that's what it is), was however very flimsy, and coupled with the warped plywood backing board, would not not sit flat. Some of the clips themselves are also loose because of the different tensions induced by the warping in the back board. In view of all of this, I felt that £18.95 was very expensive for the very average quality of the product. I would advise trying to source a clip frame with proper glass as it makes the overall product more rigid and durable. I cannot fault the delivery though. Very quick and efficient. Shame about the quality.

So apart from the jagged edges of the Perspex that you could use to cut wood, the backing being damaged and warped, an edge of the Perspex being chipped and the hanging bracket on the back looking like it was lined up by Stevie Wonder it couldn’t get much worse as a product! It’s not something we can use to put on the wall unless you want some sort of lob sided jagged modern art!!

Just as described and just what I needed. Purchase to frame a 'poster' wrapping paper sheet as a gift. Great to find something light weight as it's travelling to France. The quality was fine (nothing bad nor good). Remember to remove the protective film from both sides of the Perspex.

A flimsy, low quality item with a flaw in the perspex, (not the sellers fault). Returning item for a refund & paying a couple of pounds more for a decent proper frame from another store that is “never knowingly undersold”.

Very good value for money, just what is needed for a quick unobtrusive framing job. It was light and cheap to post on as a present with a photo in it. Can be used portrait or landscape way too.

Fab! The metal clips are a bit annoying as they don't stay on easily but once they are hanging up they stay on fine. Perfect for displaying my homemade watercolour paintings in my bathroom.

The perspex is not held flat against the photo. You get what you pay for I suppose.

I was very disappointed with this frame and it is now in the charity shop bag. The perspex cover is 'milky' so that all the colours in the picture were muted. It was not fit for purpose.
