Oozes water efficiently
This hose arrived next door, although I ordered it for standard delivery. It is easy to cut to size, a bit springy, so I pegged it down with metal tent pegs. The water oozes out just as I hoped. I’ve only had it a couple of weeks, so I don’t know how well it will last, but at present am very pleased.

Leaky, and not in the way it should be.
I only bought this one because the one I’ve used elsewhere in the garden (Porous Pipe from AF Garden Supplies) wasn’t available at the time. It is now and I wish I’d waited. This is nothing like as good quality. It’s full of actual holes, spraying water all over the place. I now need to take it all up and install Porous Pipe instead. I’d send it back but I just don’t have the energy.

working for a pond experiment... so far
Bit of an unusual review here but it might help someone.I am NOT using this as intended - sort of the reverse in fact..If you are a pond fish person you will be aware of the need to oxygenate the pond during the summer months.I have moderate sized pond (6m x 8m * 2m deep) and recently was given an OIL FREE compressor and so I am experimenting with ways of using that.I am sure you can see where this is going....Currently I have a 2m length of this soaker hose attached to an airline, with a bunch of stainless steel weights attached.Seems to give a consistent fine bubble stream down the soaker length, when lowered into the pond and feed with 1 to 4 BAR.I have NO IDEA what will happen long term. The fish seem fascinated (rather than heading off down the other end of the pond). Maybe they will eat it? Maybe it will rot. Maybe I will post an update :-).Its all off for now though as I next I need to rig it to a timer as I am sure the fish wont appreciate 24hr compressor noise.
