I have a chiweenie - the doxi part of him is always sniffing around - ALWAYS. I have tried numerous dog foods to find something he would eat and not just nibble all day. He would do this weird - poking his nose in the bowl and move it around then he would leave it alone. Basically he has a strong instinct to forage and sniff things out. I was stunned when I put his dry kibble in this and buried it pretty good and evenly - and he really worked the mat over sniffing out his food and actually eating it! Love this! Really stimulated him to eat and not just snack all day.

Our pup really enjoys this snuffle mat. It has thicker material than some others, so it doesn't just rip apart with chewing and tugging by the dog. The base is plastic and I was worried about the dog chewing that, but it has not been an issue since the fabric is pretty thick and wraps around most of the plastic. We have a small dog and I like that the treats can be hidden well in this mat, taking the dog some time to find. I have not had to clean it yet, so I can't comment on that. Looks nice as well in the living room with the gray/white color.

My dachshund loves this snuffle mat. He played for over an hour with it. Unfortunately, you can NOT leave your dog alone with it if he likes plastic. The backing has plastic nobs and eye holes which my pup loves to chew on.

I purchased this product as a means to get my puppy to not scarf his food in 30 seconds. My puppy loved this snuffle mat, no doubt about it. However be advised....when putting small amounts of his food or treats in it as described in the advert, he promptly picked it up and shook it out, causing food to scatter everywhere - there are no suction cups or ways to secure it to the floor. He also shakes it out in general when there is no food in it. in addition, the white grid backing is NOT chew resistant and I found white pieces of plastic all over the place, praying that he didn't ingest any of it. He is a 3 month old puppy, and I don't see this product lasting the month.Much better as a simple chew toy than as a mat for getting your dog to eat slower.

My weimaraner loves this snuffle mat! He used to gulp his food down so fast he'd nearly choke on it but this mat changed everything. He'll spend 10-15 minutes working away on it. It's extremely durable. I've washed it quite a few times now and it still comes out like new every time. I highly recommend it!!

My dog loves this mat! It’s really easy almost too easy for her to find everything though. I still think she feels great about herself for all her awesome nose work! I washed it upon receiving and it took a long time to dry, still smells like chemicals (just so you know)

I have two very small dachshunds; combined they weigh less than 20 pounds. This product is not very durable. I have had it for less than 10 minutes and my two pups have already pulled out some of the fabric and chewed pieces of the plastic off. It’s a great concept, but not great for chewers. They love sniffing it and digging for their treats, but I don’t know how long this will hold up.

Very cute, the gray and white are nice together. It’s a little small for a big dog but he uses it as a pillow which is pretty cute.
