I've been using the DJI Mic Mini for a short time, and I'm honestly impressed. They're incredibly compact, intuitive, and pair with the camera effortlessly. I especially love how flexible the system is: you get both the full receiver and the option to connect directly via Bluetooth, so you can choose whichever setup fits the situation. One feature I really appreciate is the ability to record the microphone audio and the camera's built-in microphone on separate tracks. It gives you much more flexibility in post-production and shows that DJI really thought through real-world workflows. The included windshields are also practical and easy to use. Overall, the Mic Mini feels like a product where DJI focused on doing one thing really well instead of packing in unnecessary features. It doesn't feel "cheap"—it feels optimized. For the price, it's honestly hard to complain. The only thing I miss is a small carrying case just for the microphones. The full charging case is great, but sometimes I only need the transmitters, and carrying the whole kit feels unnecessary. Yes, the Mic Mini 2 has already been released, but at this price point I still think the original Mic Mini is an outstanding value. The new colored covers don't matter much to me anyway (although I'd probably prefer white if I had the choice). I've tested every recording mode so far, and everything works flawlessly. I haven't had the chance to do long-term testing yet, but if reliability stays as good as my first impressions, I'll be very happy with this purchase.

I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the DJI Mic Mini. It feels very well made, has a clean, thoughtful design, and its tiny size makes it incredibly convenient to use. The noise canceling works great. Even with noise canceling turned off, the sound is much cleaner than recording with my phone's built-in microphone. When it's turned on, it does a great job of reducing background noise and makes the recording sound very clear. I bought only the transmitter (without the receiver). It connects well via Bluetooth to my computer and also to my iPhone. Just keep in mind that it doesn't work with the native iPhone Camera app. You can record audio with Voice Memos or similar apps, but if you want to record video, you'll need to use a third-party camera app (I use Blackmagic Camera). The compact charging dock is another feature I really like. It sits neatly on my desk next to my computer, keeps the microphone charged, and provides a convenient place to store it when I'm not using it. It's a small detail, but it makes everyday use much more enjoyable. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this product. It's compact, well designed, easy to use, and delivers excellent audio quality.

For a budget microphone, this model is exactly what you need, and if I’m being honest, there’s very little about it that actually feels ‘budget-friendly”. It checks every box without bogging you down with unnecessary features or gimmicks. The audio quality is excellent keeping plosives to a minimum with the included filters, while the receiver gives you plenty of control to dial in the sound exactly how you want it. It’s essentially plug and play for mobile devices. Right out of the box it worked like a charm when plugged directly into my iPhone. Pair it with a nice gimbal and a decent lighting setup and you can get high-end, professional- grade quality for an absolute steal. Functionality-wise, everything just works the way you’d expect it to. The controls are intuitive, the connection is reliable, and there’s very little fiddling required to get everything up and running. Not to mention, the overall build quality is pretty great for the price. Everything is super lightweight, the magnets for mounting are incredibly strong, and the microphones themselves feel solid. None of that shaky plastic garbage. 10/10 product.
