Works great. Exactly as is should. Just what I was looking for.

I was looking to get this tablet primarily for note taking and making rough sketches for work projects. Upon receiving the first unit it was peeling up at the bottom left hand corner. Thinking it was a screen protector used in shipping I peeled it up the rest of the way and it in fact was the screen. Luckily amazon sent me out a new unit at no charge. Upon receiving the new unit I was testing out the smart pen and unfortunately it is a huge let down. The smart pens tracking is very touchy, it will miss lines entirely. It also has on multiple occasions when I erase a page and start over, it doesnt erase the page on the note even though I did it on the tablet and now It has the new note overlaid on the on the screen I erased making the new note unreadable. For 150 dollars you would expect this tablet to have a much better software integration being as its only features are a writing surface and a pen that tracks what you write. There are no templates you can set up nor can you load a note from the app to the tablet which really makes it a frustrating experience overall. The only way to reliably use this tablet really is to use the picture function in the app which really defeats the purpose of buying the option with the smart pen not to mention it isnt even a usb C its a micro usb for charging . For the lack of features and the price of this it really doesnt make a lot of sense to buy this. It really doesnt have all that much of a premium feel and is spotty at best. I highly recommend looking at other options

It's a bit sad that this 2.0 product still doesn't fully duplicate the function of the Boogie Board Sync from over 10 years ago now. The Boogie Board Blackboard 2.0 is just a Boogie Board lcd tablet, nothing is improved or different from all their other $20 toys. All the tech is in the pen, and it's the exact same pen from the 1.0 product, relying on technology from Neolab that developed a pen and paper version of this with many of the same challenges. You would be better served with a Rocketbook product, or if you're fancy, a BOOX or Remarkable eink tablet or try the Neolab pen and notebook, but the Neolab app is pretty bad too.

I did not read the description well enough.I intended to use this to replace my paper planner.Note.You cannot add templates to the 2.0.You cannot do any partial erase. All or nothing.Great for doodles.Not so much for planning.
