Sweet relief
I recently began having sciatic pain from an old back injury. Really did not have the bucks for a chiro several times a week. Looked over all available online "stretchers". Some are ridiculously expensive. Been using this for a few weeks now. It gets the job done. Less pain and my left leg has stopped giving out on me. Thanks!

Prefer the one without the bumps! Great, cheap investment for my back problems!
I purchased one of these with the bumps and one without. Some reviewers indicated that they received interchangeable "plates"--one without the bumps and one with the bumps. I only received the one with bumps in this order. I have used the one without the bumps for about two months now and it has been a tremendous help for my back. I took it with me to my physical therapist and she had me doing many of my exercises on it. It has helped to stretch my back and reduce back pain. I do not use the one with the bumps, as I find it too uncomfortable, especially for doing any exercises. I wish I had received the two different "plates" with this one, as I only use the smooth one.

simple solution to lumbar pain
when i opened the box I thought, ohhhhhh how can this really help? BUT I use it once a day to stretch my lower back and it does work --- only have to go to chiro once a month now -- the one negative is that it takes incredible strength to adjust it into the slots ------

Great value for a simple, adjustable, compact, easy to use product.
There are a bunch of products that do different things for back relief. This one is simple and I use it all the time because it is easy. Its nice to have something that you know can give you some relief and cranked up to high this thing really give my back a piping stretch. I start from the low setting and wait till my back has adjusters comfortably from the curve then move it up till I think I stretched enough. I like the bumps and you can flip that part over if you really need to.

Seems to be helping
My boyfriend and I both have back problems. If we use the lumbar stretcher every day there is a noticeable improvement. Less pain and more movement. We just have to remember to use it every day.
