Neo Blurring Powder: Korean Oil-Control Compact with Pore Blurring, Smoothing Finish & Travel-Friendly, No-Spill Packaging

I’ve been pretty happy with this blurring powder overall. It does a great job of reducing shine and keeping excess oil off my face, especially when I first apply it. It gives my skin a smoother, more polished appearance without feeling heavy or cakey, which is exactly what I was looking for. The application is quick and easy, and the powder blends nicely into the skin. I also appreciate that the brushes clean up easily afterward, making it simple to maintain as part of my daily routine. My only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the oil-control effect doesn’t seem to last quite as long as I had hoped. That may be partly due to where I live—Houston’s heat and humidity can be brutal, especially during the summer. On particularly humid days, I find myself needing to touch up sooner than expected. That said, the powder still performs well and helps keep my skin looking less shiny throughout the day. It feels lightweight, doesn’t irritate my skin, and delivers a noticeable blurring effect. While I wish the longevity was a little better, I’m still happy with the purchase and would consider buying it again. It’s a solid product, especially for anyone looking for a simple way to manage oil and achieve a smoother-looking complexion.

I was skeptical trying yet another powder. I was afraid that this would be just another product that promises without delivery of results. But I gotta tell ya, this product more than delivered! I wear this without any primer or foundation. And I only wear a tiny bit of concealer and feel like the result is much more even than the full face of makeup. Yes, you have to touch your face up more often if you live in humidity. However, it doesn’t feel like it makes your face more oily! It does actually seem like it absorbed some oil and the pores look more relaxed. I have not tried this with my Elta Md tinted sunscreen. Honestly, it just depends on what you need and where you are wearing it, and what you are wearing it with (as with any makeup). I love wearing this at home right after washing my face and/or spraying some hypochlorous acid formulated for the face. I don’t think I will wear it over my sunblock, but I did appreciate how a little bit of concealer went on when applied over the powder already on my nose. (I’m using NARS Soft Matte concealer.) I wouldn’t wear this over my sunblock because my sunblock is oily. And because the powder pouf is sooo soft! I’ve never had any powder include a pouff like this and I wouldn’t want to dirty this one with other formulas. The design of this compact is also really great. I love how there’s a feature to prevent spillage and release fine, loose powder onto only the pouf. And inside the compact is a section that separates and holds the pouf, but keeps the rest of the powder contained while allowing you to open the compact to use the mirror and never have a messy surprise! I will post pictures later and update beyond that, if necessary. LOVE this brand!

This is the most beautiful and effective blurring powder I have ever used. It is incredible how blurring it is. My pores, which are big, simply disappear when I apply this with the puff. Having said that, this is a product that has a few cons and a learning curve that are worth noting. It is meant to be oil controlling and hydrating, but if there is any bit of dry flaky skin on your face this is going to cling to it and really draw attention to it. As an older woman, I have to be careful about that. Also you really do need to apply this with the puff to get the blurring and pore erasing effect. I am used to using a huge powder brush to lightly set my makeup, and this product doesn't work right with that. It really has no effect when applied with the brush. It takes a little bit longer to use the puff and I have to be extra careful that I am not overapply, as that will leave too much of a white cast. Having said that, this is still the best powder I have found, and I think I may just invest in a larger puff in order to apply this more quickly. I would 100% recommend it.

Powder is really fine and feels light/ soothing on the skin. Good blurring and mattifying effect and dispenser is very easy to use. The puff picks up the makeup on your face extremely easily though and would probably need to be cleaned once a week

I love this brand's lip mask, so I had high hopes, but this was very disappointing. I've used much cheaper and easier to use top-coat powders that are just as effective. To apply the powder to the poof is very difficult - has a weird perforated rubber that covers the powder, I usually end up with uneven coverage of powder on the poof. Looks stylish and high-end, but is just not worth it.

Wonderful for touch ups on the go! Gets rid of shine without drying and green tint helps with redness. The compact is classy looking. Small but well-engineered not to spill…comes with puff and mirror. I’m delighted with this purchase. Oh, it’s refillable, too!

Mrs K here: after a lot of back and forth with myself I decided to try this Laneige powder. During the Chicago winters I don't use much powder (52 year old, very dry, post menopausal skin) apart from an afternoon touch up on my nose. In every other month my skin goes full combination (yet remains dry, with all sorts of challenges). I do use powder to set my BB cream, and I've tried so many. This is a really exceptional powder. While I think the sort of Sputnik 60s retro/futuristic compact is almost too much, it's cute, and would look cute on a vanity, if that's your thing. I don't really care about the look of it. The silicone "mesh" inside the compact is pretty slick; the included powder puff is as soft as a kitten's fuzz, and again, secondary to the product itself, though quite nice. The powder is very, very finely milled, and whether applied with the puff, a mini triangle or a brush, only a tiny bit is needed to set your look or to touch up, and it vanishes into the skin. It absorbs excess oils and leaves my skin feeling like actual silk. It lasts for what seems like forever (I went to the gym and did a lot of cooking and other active stuff on a hot day, and I wasn't shiny when I got home, neither did my skin look flat or one-dimensional). Because so little powder is required to buff my skin I expect it to last for months and months; it's not irritating or drying, and I can't believe that I could love a powder at this age, but I do. It also gives that desired airbrushed effect; I feel like I'm walking around in good lighting. Just a really delightful and pleasant product that does what it claims to do, and very well. I recommend it highly.

I love this powder. I don’t have to try to match my color like normal powders. It just does its job with your own natural skin color. It’s a little tricky to get the right amount to come out of the base. If you get too much on your puff it can make your face have some white powder lines. I wash my hands and gently tap the base where the powder comes out of and I seem to have it dialed in to where I get just the right amount out. Just have to be gentle or A LOT will come out. It’s totally worth it though. It makes my skin feel and look so soft and not oily and really no powder lines ever like from compact powders. I absolute love and recommend this. Even for the price. Oh! Avoid eyebrows lol or you will look like an old lady or man because it does grab the white color. Not that it’s difficult to get off but if you are in a hurry and don’t realize it, it could look a little funny. I’m never going back to compressed powder or powder foundation. It also feels just so much lighter. Like breathable but with the same coverage. Buy it! Worth the price! And the puff is super cush and soft!

When recommended this product by a friend, I was skeptical. It worked so well and has become a daily part of my routine. It magically blurs out the pores and gets rid of oil instantly. Would very much recommend this to be in everyone's make up bag.
