Liberta Okran Bird Open Top Cage, Medium, 58 x 40 x 40 cm

Good quality cage BUT! Too small for birds, I absolutely disagree with keeping birds in cages especially ones like this. They should at least be in an aviary however I bought this as a hospital cage for rats and it's fantastic, good if you don't have lots of space and easy to clean. To modify it for rodent use I have taken out the wire bottom which would cause bumble foot, and taped the pull out tray in place. I also clipped the food doors shut and put the food bowls to recycle as they have a sharp edge to them. Arrived safe no assembly instructions though (it's easy enough to put together!) My rat is recovering well and enjoying the extra space as originally she was having to be in a cat carrying box. Great price too as I shopped around looking at many cages before choosing this one.

Bought this Cage a while ago for our Cockatiel as the previous cage was really too big for the Room. Since we let him fly around the ground floor a a fair bit every day he doesn't need a big Cage. I imagine if ones Bird is a hermit then this cage might be a bit on the Small side for a Larger species such as a Cockatiel or Small Parrot. Fine for Budgies and Canarys. Quite a decent cage, seems robust enough and everything works as it should. Easy to clean the plastic floor. Easy access with front door and Drawbridge with supports, and a Top opening with perch. Overall a very nice cage for the Money.

This cage is terrible for the money would have returned it if I had somewhere to keep bird very shoddy top doesn't even fix on would not reccomend this cage worst item I have ever bought from amazon

Budgie loved it. Plenty of places to land after a fly round and can pop in for something to eat and drink. Food dishes are good nothing drops in that shouldn't and they are easy to get on and out. Would recomend it. Looks good too.

We bought this cage purely as a smaller transport cage for our cockatiel to fit in the car. In that respect it may get three stars at best. I would not but this at all if it were your bird's only cage. It's made and put together very cheap and there is no sign of quality anywhere. The cage turned up with three perches one of which was a couple of inches too long to put in the cage so that was useless.

The cage its self is brilliant. Great size and very sturdy. The spars which where supplied with the cage are terrible and of extemely poor quality. One spar split underneath causing my poor cockatiel an injury. The split wood almost ripped off her claw causing her lots of pain and discomfort. We only noticed the split when we had to wash the blood from the spar. Overall we would buy again but would not use the spars.

easy to assemble, sturdy and the birds love it, allows for birds to get in and out when they like which is great if you're trying to tame new birds to be more trusting without forcing them out of the cage. all in all a fantastic buy

excellent. love the removable tray and dishes although in past experience the dishes won't last long before they stain and cannot be cleaned I made different perches from front to back rather than across but that's just our choice.
