If you are second-guessing, don't! This is just one of the most beautiful things I have ever purchased for a gift. I bought it for our 40th wedding anniversary for my husband. He likes unusual things like this, which explains why he married me! LOL.The craftmanship, weight, and exceptional beauty of this item is so lovely and worth every cent. I had it customized for our wedding anniversary and he just loves it. Can't wait to put it outside this summer. The only tiny little thing that I thought was sort of well, unprofessional, was the amount of smeared paint on the backside. I know no one will see it, but when I turned it over to screw in the sun dial, it was really noticeable. Other than that... I LOVE THIS SUN DIAL!

This sundial is constructed of heavy brass. It is extremely well designed. The writing and detail are beautifully done. My husband ( who loves clocks) absolutely loved this gift!!!

I purchased this for my husband for our 40th wedding anniversary. It arrived the day of our anniversary right on schedule! It is great quality, and actually works!! We have placed it in multiple places in the yard to find the exact one that gives a correct reading. We've not been disappointed.

I bought this for my brother & sister-in-law's 40 wedding anniversary. It was well crafted, but so very small for the price.

This was a present to my husband for our 40th anniversary and I was not disappointed at all. The quality is better than expected, and the workmanship quite beautiful. I did not buy a stand with it, (too expensive for both) and until spring when it will go in his garden mounted on a decorative piece of wood log, it sits on a wrought iron table stand. Many people have commented on it’s beauty and originality. One day the table was pushed over by the dog and it crashed to the floor—I thought “so much for that” but I was wrong! Not a scratch!! (Then I wondered if the FLOOR would be ok—thankfully it was too) Although pricey, this is money well spent. It’s very heavy and solid. And, I like the way you can put your own words on! I’m very satisfied.

This is a very beautiful trinket and unlike any other commemorative anniversary gift I've ever seen anyone else put on a shelf. I like that they can use it as a real sundial but they probably never will. It sits on a shelf by some photographs in my parents house. I feel like most people would think this was a really unique pretty anniversary gift

I wasn't sure what to expect when ordering this for my parents 40th Anniversary but I was blown away when I received it. The piece is made of wonderfully weighted metals with gorgeous enamel paint which looks sure to last a lifetime. I purchased it with the larger stand and it is also of the same high quality. If you are thinking about ordering, just do it. Incredibly unique and clearly crafted by folks who care.

Lovely well made and finished sundial, always check box contents ours was missing a part, contacted the supplier/manufacturer and within a few days the part arrived, excellent customer service, speedy delivery and a heavy well made product, what more can one ask for.

The product is beautiful but unfortunately set up for UK, will not work in Australia. Not knowing much about sundials it would have been handy if the supplier advertised a mapped area the sundial was suited to. Unfortunately I found out the hard way. I've still given the product a 5 star as it beautiful and well made, instead of a happy anniversary gift its now just a dud gift.
