YITAHOME 80 Gallon Outdoor Storage Box

If you take the assembly slowly and carefully - using your brain - despite the terrible instructions and pictures it is very easy to put together. It would be easier with two, but I did it fine by butting it up to the side of the house to hold the lid up while I attached it. Once together it is quite lovely. Looks fancy and way more expensive than it is. The 120-gallon one is super spacious and watertight. I am going to spray inside and out with natural anti-rodent and wasp spray just to be sure, but I am excited to not have to replace stuff next season because it's been eaten or otherwise ruined by either the weather or living pests. The damper lid hinges are the icing on the cake. It's super sturdy and can be used as extra seating. Highly recommend.

It’s a perfect addition to our patio with deep storage and can also hold beverages. Very pleased

I must say that this box was extremely easy to install, and I love it for its purpose. The box came super lightweight and took me all of 10 minutes. Max for installation. The material is an extremely hard plastic, but it feels very durable so it won’t just break or fall apart when you pull on it. The size is very nice as well as we all know Amazon boxes and other articles of mail coming in all sizes so I find this to be perfect for either that or just placing some outdoor flower pots inside of it. The functionality for me would be impeccable as I found many times that I would get mail delivered on the front porch, but it would end up being wet by the rain or blown away by the wind. So I bought this outdoor storage container and I think it’s fabulous. It was actually recommended to me by a neighbor who has a pool and keeps their pool items inside like noodles, goggles, and other kid toys. I found that on the front there is a small latch if you intend to lock this. Box. I would not say that it’s sturdy enough to sit on or place heavy things onto it as that’s not it’s intended used. However, it is stable enough to put a few items on it if you needed to. I gave it four stars and I really want to give it five but let me tell you what would make all of the difference. If this actually said or had the word male imprinted on it for those that intend to use it for male like myself, it would make all of the world of a difference because these new postal men and women have no clue what this thing is for. They think it’s a bench. And sometimes they still continue to leave mail on the doorstep versus leaving it in the box which, as you can see from my picture I have a sign that clearly says what it’s for. They don’t realize that they can actually open this thing and that it is a way for them to put mail securely in a box where it is concealed in the average person won’t come up to my front door, like a porch pirate to take my mail. That would just be a cool concept. To have the word male imprinted somewhere on it. But that is a far-fetched idea and something that I think should be considered for future. But overall, the product is great. No odor. Perfect size. Fits perfectly in the corner and overall I’ve had success with giving instructions to leave items in the storage box. Would recommend buying and also they have a few different colors. Suggest you buy it if this is something that you’re looking for.

Took some muscles and determination to get this together but it looks great and so far so rain water has gotten in. I’ll move it inside for winter but so far so good.

I love this color!!!! Matches my windows outside! I cut hole in back side to run my garden hose through! Easy peasy!!!It snapped together easily and is sturdy! It protects my flex garden hose! The lid stays up while pulling out hose to water. That is a plus! No odor!

Pros - Great Price - Easy to Assemble - Great Looks Cons - Not as Sturdy as I would have liked I bought this to replace my pool chemical box that was probably 16 years old and had seen better days (it came with the house). My lawn crew had eaten a couple of holes in the corner with the weed eater, so it was time to replace it. I searched many different products and did not want to spend $300+, so I settled on this container for its price and aesthetics. When I received the box I was surprised by its light weight. All of the parts were there and carefully packaged. I highly recommend studying the instructions COMPLETELY before assembling. The instructions are nothing but pictures with only a few cautionary notes. They kept saying to use a rubber mallet, but I just used my hands to snap/pop it all together. While putting it together I was concerned that the box was not very sturdy, but as I finished up I saw that it was better than I originally believed. Assembly time was less than 45 minutes and I had no help. If you use a drill to drive the screws, make sure that you do NOT over-tighten the screws. I has mine set to release on a scale of 3 out of 10 and still stripped 2 or 3 screws. I found that if it is on a flat surface it is pretty stable and strong. If it is not on a flat surface the box will get wonky and the top not lay flat. I do not recommend sitting on the top hinged lid. The lid is still a little too flexible for my taste, so only lift it from the middle. The piston hinges work very well, but I am sure that eventually the chlorine will corrode them up as was the case with the previous box. Because it needs the flat surface, I bought three 8-foot cedar 2x4's and cut them to build a frame (55-1/2" x 26") with an longitudinal center board to support to bottom of the box. If you are not going to set this on flat cement, then I highly recommend building this frame. After placing it on the ground and leveling (very important), I secured the box to the frame with screws and large washers along the center board at the bottom of the box. The frame raises the box up off the ground and hopefully will protect it from the weed eater. I do plan on mounting aluminum plates to the frame at the corners for protecting the wood from the weed eater. All in all, a good buy.

First, this was inexpensive..........still.......it ain't exactly as great and sturdy as they say it will be. The instructions consists of drawings of parts with arrows to show which way is up. The instructions could be very much clearer if they would show more detail on what clicks with what. AND, it doesn't easily snap together. It requires some heavy heavy pushing. Maybe for a man it is easy, but I had to put full body weight to get some parts to SNAP easily in place (hah). I FINALLY got bottom and all the sides but the front side together after some cussing under my breath and thinking about how much it would cost in gas $$ and my time to return the thing boxed up to UPS to return............NOT worth it. So, got that front put on and I noticed a portion of it was split..........I didn't do it it came that way.....the split part was a bottom corner. rats. I still managed to snap the front in and got the top on...got out my extreme super glue and covered that split part to hopefully keep it together. Would I recommend it? I would with extreme caution about who is putting it together and check parts over before starting to see about cracks. I only plan to put my accessories for my grills in the thing on my newly remodeled patio and deck.......I wish I had just paid for an old wood chest, sanded and painted it, and put it out there.........it would look better, hold up forever, and would be way easier than snapping this thing together. I do like the 30 gal. size. I will use it till I get a wood chest at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore...........

I was really excited about this outdoor box. It’s very nice looking. But you can’t store anything of value in it because it’s very easy for a rodent to get in there during the cold weather. I had it in the back of my house near our shed and they went to town. They chewed a hole in a huge extension cord and chewed up an outdoor pillow that we had in there. I’m just happy we didn’t have my daughter’s softball equipment in there at the time. If you’re using it for tools and things like that, I’m sure it’s completely fine. But if you really want to use it for storage of cushions or anything else, I wouldn’t trust it.

Très satisfaite ! Facile à monter, toutes les pièces sont identifiées, il suffit de suivre la notice. Prévoir d'être 2 pour tenir. Assez grand pour 2 gros coussins de loveuse et plusieurs petits, il reste de la place, mais pas pour un salon 7 places. Il est joli (effet bois), semble de qualité et très solide, on peut s'assoir dessus si besoin. Vraiment étanche, il a déjà subi plusieurs orages et tout reste sec. Il est parfait ! Je recommande.

Mooie tuinbox. Het installeren was wel wat moeilijk je hebt zeker een zachte hamer en een schroevendraaier nodig. Als je dit niet hebt (zoals mij) wordt het lastig.

Esta caja es muy bonita y de muy buena fabricación.
