My Granddaughter Loves This Gymnastics Bars!
I bought this adjustable gymnastics bars for my granddaughter, and she absolutely loves it! This gymnastics bar is a great way for her to have fun, practice her skills, and stay active at home. I really like that the bars have five different height adjustments, making it easy to find a comfortable height as she grows. It is sturdy and well-made, and she has so much fun using it. Itโs wonderful to see her enjoying an activity that keeps her moving and learning new skills. Iโm very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend them for all kids!

The "First Steps" Bar
1. Stability & Build Quality The Triangle Base: The bar uses a standard triangle-base design with rubber floor pads. For a 40-lb child doing a pullover, it is rock solid. The Wobble Factor: As children get heavier (approaching 70-80 lbs) or skills get more dynamic (swinging hard), the bar will lift off the ground or wobble. This is simple physics for a lightweight, foldable bar. You can mitigate this by placing sandbags on the legs, but it is a limitation of the design. Weight Limit: The manufacturer claims a 140 lb weight limit. In reality, while the steel bar might hold that weight without bending, the base will likely tip over if a 100 lb child swings on it aggressively. Realistically, treat the effective limit for swinging skills as ~75-80 lbs. 2. Adjustability & Storage Height: It adjusts easily between 35" to 51" using a pin-lock mechanism. This range is perfect for toddlers up to about 2nd grade. Folding Mechanism: This is the bar's best feature. Unlike professional bars that are bolted permanently, you can pull up on the connecting rods and fold this unit flat against a wall. If you have a small playroom or apartment, this feature alone makes it a winner. 3. The "Included" Accessories The Mat: Most listings include a mat, but manage your expectations. It is usually a thin, yoga-style mat, not a thick crash mat. It will protect the floor from scratches, but it will not protect your child from a fall. You will almost certainly need to buy a proper 4-inch crash mat separately. Bar Pad: The kit often includes a foam wrap for the top bar. This is essential for protecting little hips from bruising during hip circles. Should You Buy It? YES, IF: You have a child (ages 3-7) who just started gymnastics classes and wants to show you their "tricks" at home, or if you need a bar that hides away in a closet when not in use. NO, IF: Your child is a competitive gymnast (Level 3 or higher), weighs over 80 lbs, or is practicing high-velocity skills like kips and back hip circles. For them, you need a heavy-duty, non-foldable bar with a wider base.

NO REGRETS
I NEVER write reviews. Ever. This may be my first ever. But I have a tall 6 year old girl. And was debating between multiple bars for her birthday and decided on this one. NO REGRETS. I got with the mat. She loves it. Sheโs on it every single day. Every. Single. One. Her birthday was over 2 months ago. Itโs sturdy. It handles her hanging. Her doing flips. Itโs easy to fold up to put away. It handles my weight. I can even hang and do flips on it and feel safe and fine. This was an incredible purchase. So if ur debating. Go for it

Sturdy and easy to store. 7 yr old sets it up by herself and uses it often. I was surprised at how sturdy this is. She loves it.

Not bad for the price
Overall I have to say I like this product. This was bought for my 3 year old who has a ton of enthusiasm for gymnastics now that she has had a couple of months into one of our local programs. Her 5 year old brother at times even chimes in and joins her with some drills we have her run to have her improve. Now to focus more on the product. So far I can say, meanwhile it is on a flat surface it will perform as you probably will expect it to. We have only tried it on carpet though and it does really good. We do use the yoga mat it comes with. I must say, I am not quite thrilled by the mat mainly because it hardly provides any impact support. It's a yoga mat, thin. But the fact it comes with one could ease off any concern over hard floor considering this can easily fit under the bar set up and don't worry, it has a decent space outside of the immediate area as well similar to the picture. The assembly was really simple even my 5 year old was able to put it together with some guidance therefore don't fear assembly. The height adjustment has been great, although my daughter is a bit short, we've been able to make it work with the lowest setting and getting an additional step to help her reach. It also came with an addition support wrap to make it more comfortable resting on the bar and it should helps when learning to flip. Putting it way also has worked out for us living in 750 sq ft. For expanding as far as it does, it does collapse pretty decently thin in comparison. Helps with saving space when we put it away. For the price we paid, I'd say it's worth it.
