Fits a 88-91 suburban!
This does for a matter of fact work on a 88-91 suburban that has the big den and a half radio but there is 2 small brackets on the factory radio you have to use for this kit to stay in place there is one on the side and bottom after figuring that out the radio went in great and looks very nice!

1989 Corvette radio fits
This does work well for the 1989 Corvette however, I feel like you are paying for a lot of product that you end up recycling because you don't use it.

Doesn't fit 2000 GMC Jimmy (same as 98-02 Chevy Blazer and GMC Jimmy models)
I could not use the brackets as described in the application guide as it would have positioned the kit too high causing a conflict with a cross-member of the dash; even if the cross-member wasn't the problem, there would be a gap below the kit when the dash trim panel was re-installed.Through a very long measurement and trial and error process, I was able to modify the brackets to get the kit to install below the cross-member and be centered in the opening of the the dash trim panel. I wasted several hours working on this. The whole point of this product is to make installation easy.If you have a 98-02 Chevrolet Blazer or GMC Jimmy, I would recommend that you find a different installation kit. Overall, the design of this kit seems like it should work, it may work fine for other applications.

It works ok
It's made to fit many different vehicles. It did not fit my 98 gmc sonoma with the brackets that it specified. I had to mix and match drill and file to make it work.

Time saver!
Use this product to install a stereo in my boat. The system itself needed a new mounting bracket so that I could replace the old stereo with a new one This product worked great and gave me multiple options for mounting In the rigid confined space of my Boats glove compartment I was able to utilize the components and make a nice sturdy solid fit It worked out really well
