Super cute. It’s more of a dark chrome than a black. Or maybe “black chrome” is better term for it but I’m not mad at it. It’s super cute.

*4 1/2 actual stars* Stylish and Unique, but Requires Care I really like the elegant look of this black silverware set. It adds a unique touch to my table setting and feels well-balanced in hand. The weight is just right—not too heavy or too light. However, after some use, I’ve noticed that the black finish requires extra care. If you clean them in the dishwasher too often the finish can kinda wear if in spots but nothing too drastic. Water spots and fingerprints don't really show easily, but it is important to dry them immediately to prevent any discoloration or fading. While they’ve held up well so far, I can see how improper care might lead to wear over time. Overall, a great set for those willing to take a little extra care to maintain its appearance!

Heavy duty, looks nice and washes up well.

Edit as of May 2025: Multiple of these utensils now have scratches and have fading in places. I don’t think I will repurchase them but I mean they were good for the price / you get what you pay for. June 2025: the scratches and tarnishing has worsened, and you can now taste the metal. These have been hand washed only, never been in the dishwasher. Will be purchasing new silverware elsewhere. Very sleek and fits in well in our kitchen. I will say though, these get water spots GALORE. If you’re ok with that, then go for it. If you prefer a more aesthetic appeal, maybe look somewhere else.
