1) The seller should specify that these measuring cups are for AUSTRALIAN/NEW ZEALAND cooking measurements.Consumers requiring accurate measuring cups (UK/US cooking measurements) should *avoid*2) Out of the box, there's unknown black/dark silver dust-like particles on the cups. The stainless steel cups may have been treated with silicon carbide (not something you'd want to consume). IF this is the case you can try thiscleaning method; wipe using canola oil + rinse with water, then wipe using baking soda + rinse and then wash as normal.3) The cup handles feel flimsy. The 1 cup and 1/2 cup handles are already bending after only the first use.
