G-Force: Guardians Of Space [DVD]

i loved this as a child and still love it to this day :D i can't believe i found my favorite episodes on dvd so happy!! i love this version to the other one seeing it doesn't have that annoying robot that shows up and Transmute!doesn't sound that nice at all = / just my honest opinion i'm just to this version seeing i had it on VHS this dvd is the G-FORCE - GUARDIANS OF SPACE - VOLUME 1 VHS

Enjoyable but would have liked more

The voice actors were different than I remember growing up on Toonami, but the DVD played and now my collection of G-Force/Gatchaman DVD's is complete!

Class old cartoon

This version of the series is the worst I've ever seen. The voice acting is atrocious. Save your pound coin and ram it in your eye to experience just how agonising watching this crap was.

Ok, so it doesn't sound as cool as 'Transmute!'but this incarnation of 'Gatchaman' is closer to the original.If you can get past the constant 80s pop drum beat soundtrack, and the fact that the characters are no longer named what you remember, if you grew up with Battle of the Planets, then G Force stands up not too badly.Gone are the annoying 7-Zark-7 segments, and in their place are some of the original fight scenes from Gatchaman. The action takes place on Earth, like the original, and is still pretty much fun when you give it a chance.I'd recommend it, as I find it difficult to watch Battle of the Planets now, as to me it's a tad kiddy-tv. This isnt quite so bad. Just a pity it doesn't have the rights to use the BOTP theme...

This was a great flashback to the original series. Only disappointment is that this DVD is just the first three episodes. I'm still looking for the whole season and/or all episodes version.

Battle Of The Planets was a favourite as a child.
