Would he be sturdy enough for a 2year old to play with?

From what I remember about when my daughter was 2 she was still in an everything goes to the mouth phase. I can tell you for sure he would not be machine washable and does have those plastic eyes that parents worry about. His hands and feet are plastic and the stitching is very good around the ears. Do you remember Monchichi monkey toys from the 80s? I'd say he's about as sturdy.

What's the quality of the gizmo doll, because I'm kinda in the middle of making my decision. And I've been reading the reviews too.

It's not bad, but I personally don't think it was worth $15 bucks. It's not "plushy" like a stuffed animal and I had to peel some of the glue off at spots where they went a little overboard with it, that's why I say not worth $15 bucks, just expected a little bettery quality for that amount.

Im not looking for a toy to cuddle with, more of like a collectors item for show. Would this be a good purchase, in this situation.
