Great if a quick teeth brightening is needed to remove light staining, however doesn’t contain the right ingredients for the bright white effect. Need peroxide which this doesn’t contain.

This is a Colgate Max White LED Kit which comes with 2 Whitening wands and at the time of review this is priced at £79.99. This set from colgate is one that I have been wanting to try after seeing adverts about it and the fact it is made by colgate gave me hope that this one would actually work as I have tried other's that didn't really make a difference so I was looking forward to trying this one. It comes boxed with plenty of information and shows what you get inside. You get the Whitening device as well as a protector which is a nice addition to keep it clean and protected, USB cable, adapter and 2 whitening serums which look like a lip gloss type tube and small brush on the end. The instructions on how to use this seem to be clearer on the description online than the instructions inside the book as it seemed to hint that you would leave it on overnight however on line it says to brush the teeth after whitening so that could have been a bit clearer but overall this is fairly straight forward you just need to do your best to keep the teeth dry whilst using this which is not as easy as it sounds. You paint the serum on dry teeth then you need to have the device in your mouth for 10 mins which I think is a decent amount of time to not feel uncomfortable and makes this an easy part of the day to fit in to your routine. Once you have managed this you brush your teeth and you are done for the day. It instructs you to use this everyday for 2 weeks before seeing results so it is one which is gradual and won't work miracles after a couple of uses but I like that it is gradual as you can stop using when you reach your required colour and it's not as much of a bright white shock to see. Overall I think this is a good product which does give results if you are willing to be patient and use it as it says.

Unfortunately I'm sending this back it's not working

I have tried other similar types of devices to whiten my teeth and unfortunately this one was not the best. It is REALLY difficult to get the strips to stay on your teeth as even if you spit out and dry your teeth first, within seconds of putting the strips on, they get extremely slippery on your teeth from the general humidity and come off completely as you start producing saliva again, even a small amount in the back of your mouth. It’s a shame because this is a pricey kit that is really hard to operate properly. I think it’s specific to this product since I have tried others from different brands and did not have anywhere near that much of an issue saliva wise, the other strips don’t keep coming off so easily, once they’re stuck on your teeth properly, the other strips I’ve tried stay on and don’t let any saliva in between the strips and your teeth. For that reason I have not been able to use it many days in a row and can’t testify to how good this is for teeth whitening since it’s difficult to use as per the instructions.
