Philips Ultinon Access LED car headlight bulb (H3), ultra-compact direct-fit, 80%, 6000K, set of 2

This is an innovative product from Philips. It seeks to replace the OEM Halogen lamp with an LED without tampering with wires or installing additional power devices. A Halogen headlamp is not strictly designed for an LED, so there are a few limitations, but Philips has ensured that you are very happy. Use of these bulbs leads to a quantum improvement in the light output, and you also save a lot of energy. I thought that the downside is the bulb life at 1500 hrs, which is good enough to easily serve for several years. I believe automotive bulbs do have a shorter life, which, for this bulb, is lower in comparison to a Halogen stock bulb. Energy consumption at 40W for a pair compared to 110W for a Halogen with far better output is a game-changer. I rewrote the review and upgraded from 4 to 5 stars to share my immense satisfaction. Go for it after matching holder specs, etc. You may need professional help to fit it, as most cars do not provide easy access to the headlamps. Once you get used to the light, you are going to love it. You may rarely use the high beam, as the low beam itself is excellent. Immense improvement in night driving, especially on dark and poorly lit roads.

I got it for my polo 2018 model. As it say its direct fitting no additional couplers or accessories needed. Works fine and is little bit brighter than halogen.

Didn't work it all

Just now received this Philips Ultinon H8 20W cool white LED and self replaced old 35 W Halogen bulbs for DRL (Angel Eye) in my 2011 BMW X1. Just two minutes it took to replace. Perfect fit, perfect bright light in socket ring, and cool honey yellow colour in outer ring. So far no error message/light on dashboard even after three times restarting the car. Overall fantastic product for BMW DRL. No complexity of polarity, no canbus requirement. A straightforward plug and play bulb! Anyways I need to wait for few days to check the performance.

I’m satisfied with the product but a little but costlier, have fitted in Honda amaze till now great feels just like default fitting it won’t let you know that you purchased it from outside. It’s just like company fitting experience, however the brightness, quality and performance is upto mark as described. Beam performance Somewhere will also depends on your car headlight reflector how the good condition or bad the reflector is if you are looking for 55/60w of other brands try this you won’t disappoint.

Money waste... If you have reflector type headlight, Stock halogens are still better for night driving. I tried 6000k which is not good for reflector type.

I have used this product in my HONDA WRV SV MT.Earlier i ordered Osram Night Breaker LED bulbs and the problem that I faced with them was that the beam pattern was not clear/accurate which caused vision problem at night as the light from headlight was not dispersed properly.After using the Osram headlight bulbs I made a decision not to buy led bulbs ever again.Osram bulbs lasted about one an a half year.Then I ordered Osram Night breaker halogen bulbs but after using led bulbs halogen bulbs does not offer satisfaction.Then I thought of giving it a try, though the star rating was less, but they are excellent.Philips bulbs did the job well, they did all my job the best.Packaging was bit old, it should be improved.

I have a projector setup (XUV500 W11) and the color definitely looks good but if we're talking about the brightness and throw, I'd still say it can't replace the 55W halogen blub. No doubt it can light up the street but if a Baleno/Fortuner is side by side, these go invisible.Great thing about the Ultinon Access is that it's slim design can fit inside small headlamp housing that can close the cap.

Excellent product, completely transformed the lighting in my 4wd Rodeo made the old Halogen lamps look like candles by comparison. Also very good service and they were about $40 cheaper than the local auto shop for exactly the same product and they were on special at that price, I couldn't be happier.

Received on 28th of march, installed on the 29th of march. It is now 15th of may and one of the globes has blown. Very disappointing to say the least

車検大丈夫と記載があるけれど、素人には分からないので不安でした。問題ありませんでした。
