ESSLNB 2MOA Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight, Red Dot Scope with Shake Awake and 12 Brightness Adjustment for 20mm/22mm Weaver/Picatinny Rail Mount

I received a sight with a blurry dot. Internal issue. I emailed company, and they sent me a replacement. I got to play with it a little this afternoon. Almost on target out of box. I love that I don't need to carry a little screwdriver in the field. Very nice product for a modest price. If you're sitting on the fence, just go for it!! This company took care of me. Five stars for customer service. 20 dollar sights have come a long way.

What a hell of a scope. For the money it beats more expensive ones hands down. I’m buying another 3 color scope for a rifle I have. When they get them back in stock. I mounted this first one on a pistol. Even with the recoil it holds zero . (357). If it holds up to that recoil it’s winner. So far so good, waiting for a tri colour to be in the amazon wish book. NOT in the instructions, but to make it fit a 3/8" rail, flip the rail mounts 180 degs (they come set up for picatinny). Once you do that, they're perfectly sized for a 3/8" rail. With that said, it comes with everything you need: a CR2032 battery, lens caps, a cleaning cloth, hex wrench, and even spare rail mounts (I suppose in case you overtighten the mounting screws and manage to strip the threads on the first rail mount) The red and green dots are nice and small (what I wanted for how I'm going to use it), WITH adjustable brightness. That was the main feature I was looking for (planning to use it as a spotter scope on a telescope - definitely need a dim small red dot for that). I have no idea if it holds zero - I haven't tried it yet, but I imagine a telescope won't be stressing its abilities. If it experiences a lot of Gs from that use, I'll have more things to worry about (like a busted telescope) than a busted cheapie red dot.

I usually don't fault the product when I get someone else's return - that's not the manufacturer's issue - that's the blame of Amazon. But in this case, the last buyer returned this sight because the dot is so far from center that it cannot be corrected. The red dot is way high up in the sight - so high you can barely see it. When I turn the elevation screw it does nothing - clearly defective from the factory. So now I'll return this already KNOWN broken sight and order a new one. Some UPS guy will make two extra trips proving how dedicated to Global Warming Bezos is. Will get another and try it out and if it is any better I'll amend my 1 star review. For the algorithm: the quality is garbage. The brightness appears OK. This sight doesn't have a focus feature. PS - thanks to the first buyer for scratching up the screws, leaving a big fat juicy fingerprint on the glass, and then returning this clearly broken sight as "new and unopened." Folks, don't shaft the next person, if its broken, return it as broken.

Great product works good also

Excellent sight. Put it on my airsoft L96/MB08 and it made a world of difference. I could see how the dot may be too large for some people but I like it. The lenses have crystal clear view and regardless of what other reviews say about the lighted part being in the view, this sight is still well worth every penny.

I bought this particular red-dot sight because it was listed to fit 3/8 dovetail. The mounting brackets can be flipped upside down in order to fit either Pica-tinny or 3/8" dovetail. Well evidently this company does not know the dimension of 3/8" dovetail. On every pellet gun I owned, I tried to mount this and it would not tighten up. The sight would just slide loosely right off the rail. It appears to fit Pica-tinny OK so if you are buying for that rail system you will likely have no problem. The visual appearance of the dot is typical of any other red-dot in this price range. My 72 year old eyes are limited by occasional dry-eye conditions and by astigmatism and vari-focal glasses so seeing a small precise dot is likely more difficult in my case. The elevation and windage adjustment knobs have a nice firm click to them and the on/off brightness knob also works well. The sight comes with flip-up covers, but the cover assemblies are not tightly fitted or glued to the sight ends so you have to hold onto the base of each cover while popping them open. It is actually easier to just pull off the whole cover assembly at each end since the covers themselves fit snug in the base when closing. Choices are slim for a red-dot sight that fits 3/8 dovetail and considering that the price of this sight is quite reasonable, I've decided to keep the unit and will apply some contact adhesive to fit the cover assemblies securely onto the sight and also do a little metal work (milling machine) to make it work for me. Once I've done this, the option to return the item is, of course, gone so if you feel the challenge to tweak this mounting system, this sight could be a choice for you. A person with some patience and a good file could make this work. Just make sure it functions properly before making the modifications since the warranty will be voided and returning the unit after mods is shady behavior. Unless you have the tools to modify, I suggest avoiding this unit for 3/8" dovetail. Update: I was able to modify it to fit tightly. Each side bracket and the base of the sight needed milling so I likely had to sacrifice the Pica-tinny mounting option in the alteration process which was no loss in my case. I have it mounted on a Crosman 2240 with the metal breach kit and longer barrel. If the manufacturer of this sight would be more precise in the process of making the dual-mount rail clamp, they would have a winner here, particularly given the price of the unit. I really can't make any comparisons to the quality of this sight, since I haven't looked through a red dot sight from one of the more well-known optics companies, but it works well for me in a pellet gun situation. I would consider another one, now knowing I can remedy the misfit to 3/8 dovetail, but I need to knock off a couple stars for the lack of quality control on this issue.

Bought this for one of my airsoft replicas and works just fine for the price. I don't need a high-end pricey red dot for airsoft so it works perfect for my needs.
