He loves this but it isnot for younger children due to safety issues!

It's a pretty good kit that pretty much has everything you need to start. But: the bead release SUCKS!!!!! No matter how I applied and dried it, it kept flaking off. The first several beads I made had to be broken off the mandrels because of this. Then I tried a different brand of bead release and it worked just fine. So if you get this kit, be prepared to separately buy a different brand of bead release.

Good stuff

My kit came missing the bead release so I was not able to use it right away and had to order a bottle of bead release. The safety glasses in the kit need to be upgraded to the proper type of safety glasses for use of flamework, otherwise this is a good starter kit for someone just starting into glass beadwork. I recommend taking a basic flamework class before investing in a kit and deciding what works best for you.

I got my package and there were no mandrels!! How am I supposed to make beads without spending 20 more bucks and waiting more days! Boo
