Very poor filters for lint or washer debris, do not depend upon these filter elements
I thought I would gives these a try. Keeping washer lint out of a septic system is important, it is not bio degradable and clogs up leach fields. The filter mesh is big, 1/8" or more making the openings too large to trap much lint, most by passes it. I tripled it up, still to large because of the way they fit together. Completely useless unless ones goal is to stop 10% of total lint. I guess I will just continue to make my own filter elements out of aluminum screen material. 10 bucks worth last two years, cuts with scissors and makes an excellent catch all 1/32 grid filter when doubled. I will be throwing the unless filters away

10" long lint traps! Yes!
I like how long these are (approx 10") because the smaller, shorter lint traps have to be changed more often & fill up w/lint faster (especially if I'm washing rugs or fuzzy thick fabrics). It was easy to double them up & catch even more lint, but it isn't necessary (using one is fine).Haven't used them long enough to know if they rust but I change ours every few months, so I highly doubt they will. The reusable zip ties are an added bonus.

Great tool / Must have for sink drains
Works better than I though it would. As you can see by the picture if your washing machine drains into a sink or floor drain you should most assuredly do some kind of preventative maintenance or catch all... what I believed to just be water before is full of lint and debris from the wash. These handy nets will collect said lint and prevent the clogs of pipes and drains.Easy on: HandsEasy off: Scissors

Awesome value!!
Best value for these!! There’s a 2 pack at my grocery store for $4! Always buy in bulk if it’s worth it and this was! This pack will last me 4 years with one on my laundry hose and then one on my sink drain where the laundry hose falls into. Fantastic deal!!

Perfect Lint Catcher
I used to use the mesh traps but decided to give these Stainless Steel ones a go. It catches everything and is extremely easy to set up plus is a good price. I will be reordering these when I run out. I will update this post when I get a good feel on roughly how many loads of laundry it takes to fill it up.

Buy a different kind
I was unimpressed with the quality. Had to put one inside another to double them up to make sure they actually taped lint and hair, otherwise don't bother.

Very thin metal, but so far does the job
Is very thin mesh, I’ve attached photos to compare with an average traps I’ve been getting all the time, my old lint traps have much thicker metal and longer. When I use the new once, I feel like if I don’t replace it in time it will rip. Its literally hair thin. So far it’s been ok though

Helps minimize backed-up drains at home
These are essential to keeping your home's wasteline from slowly becoming blocked. A lot of homes have the kitchen was line intersect wit the laundry at some point. If there are remnants of oils, grease, and general build-up from the kitchen side, they will grab waterborne lint from the laundry side and form a sludge build-up. Better to have this on the end of your machine's discharge line and minimize that build-up.
