TR-225-004 Turbo Oven Extender Ring

I have been meaning to purchase this item for some time now but never got round to it and now I have it I love it, it gives me about 1/3rd more space in the oven and came in really handy over the festive season. I f you need more space go for it you wont go wrong.It is only a stainless steel ring and I did think it was a bit over priced which probably put me of buying it for so long but if you can afford it get it if you need the extra space in the oven, go get it, I did and I am glad I did.

It works fine but is twice as expensive as it should be for what it is.

I got this because someone reviewed and said it fit their NuWave-- it does NOT fit mine-too small to place the top on

I have a Flavorwave Oven circa 2001- 2002, and it still works fine. And I have one of the acrylic extender rings which broke when my ex-mother in law tossed it along with the oven, in my garage. So when I saw this Flavorwave branded stainless steel extender ring, I had high hopes that I wouldn't have to deal with the superglued fix I tried with the broken acrylic one. Flavorwave Ovens are owned by the same company that now makes the NuWave Ovens, and they are not surprising very similar.The problem with the new extender ring is that it is too small. Does not fit, and so does not work. One of my friends has a NuWave Oven, and the extender ring is also just a little too small in diameter for it to work on the NuWave. The base of his new wave and the matching tray are interchangeable with my older Flavorwave. The Flavorwave Oven became the NuWave Oven, and they both have the same infrared convection technology.

First, I feel this item is terribly overpriced. However, there is nothing out there other than this extender ring to purchase. I did give it 4 stars because it fits my Rosewill halogen oven perfectly and my oven did not come with an extender ring. I can now do large turkey breasts and other larger items without burning the tops of them. Also, I think by using the lowest rack and the extender ring I can make better looking pastries.

I'd been needing to order one of these for my new Turbo Flavorwave. Had one for the previous flavorwave that I had owned and it didn't fit my new one. So, when I found this one here on Amazon I decided to try it out and I love it. Works great and fits secure. Extremely happy with it. Thank you!

I've never had the entender ring in all the years I have owned my oven so I have never been able to cook a large bird. Received 12-13-13, just in time for this Christmas so I can't wait to cook my first full turkey.Initially hesitant to buy this because it was described as having some cosmetic damage. I was worried that meant it had been dinged up or maybe bent. When I got it home, there was no damage and no dings or bends. Not enough that it should have even been mentioned but I really appreciate their honesty. It is perfect.I thank everyone who DIDN"T buy it so that I could!!

Haven't used it yet, but it fits very nicely on my oven. I am sure it will allow for baking larger items like cakes or large chickens or small turkeys
