This is a nice huge can of bear spray . I attached it to my hiking pack with a carabiner ring and had it on the front belt the whole time just in case I encountered a bear in the wilderness of Washington. I carried it the whole entire time with it bouncing up and down against my body and it did not leak at all m, so thank goodness! You can feel rest assured that this is a quality product that does not leak. I never got to spray it so I don’t know anything about how well it works and I really hope I never get to find out, but I’m sure it works well. The design allowed me to put the carabiners through so I could attach it to many things which makes it super convenient for backpacking/hiking. Appears to be easy to use and can spray quite far. I definitely felt safe against the Bears and against it accidentally spraying! I trust it 100%. If you’re debating, just buy it.

Got it for bears, hope I never use it, but it is nice and lightweight.

I keep this in my car for protection. Not too worried about bears, but more so road rage where I live. I have this in my daughter’s car, too, because you just never know when you are going to run into trouble. It’s good value for the money.

I have never used pepper spray, gel, etc...Purchased for camping just in case.The can is pretty good size and can probably be used multiple times.One review stated that it won't stop a bear.I am not sure if this is true but I am confident it would deter one as well as a mountain lion and humans if needed.Its all about " piece of mind".

I bought this because our store can get some character come through & we love them all but sometimes it left us feeling vulnerable without protection. We feel better with this behind the counter.

Awesome wear

This doesn't spray very far. I have a raccoon invasion and I've used everything I could think of, and this was the last thing before trapping them and moving them out into a wooded area outside of town. I'm order for the spray to reach them, I had to let them get pretty close to me and I had to wear a mask so I wouldn't inhale the any of the spray. Once almost got me before I had enough space and time to spray. Don't suggest getting this unless your arms are ridiculously long, and even then I still don't suggest this for a defense mechanism.
