Works as it is intended ! Easy to use and clean!!

This is a very versatile tool for using with a mixer. This ends so much wasted batter and thoroughly scrapes the bowl.

As soon as I saw it, this one of those tools that made me think, “why didn’t I think of that?!” because a key step in baking is consistently scraping off the beater and sides of the bowl (which is especially annoying when using the scraping/silicone edge beaters). This spatula makes quick work of both, including scooping out the divot at the bottom of the glass mixing bowl! I was worried the tool would be awkward to handle when trying to get around all the crevices of the beater blade (also by New Metro), but that wasn’t the case, at all. It was perfectly easy to hold and finagle around both bowl and beater—I love this thing.Note, I wasn’t sure how well my dishwasher would be able to clean the small slots on this tool, so I hand washed it after using, but will update this review if I ever decide put it into the dishwasher.

I wanted this after seeing the batter scraped off in a video on Amazon (but it seemed live or something-- anyway fun to watch). When I got the spatula I was pleased at how heavy duty it is--it's really well made--just of upped my spatula game. For baking--it worked great when I made a lemon cake, the batter scraped off in a flash and I was surprised how much came off. Wondering how many cookies or slices of cake have just been washed down the drain?! But what shocked me is how great it works at the stove too. I have a huge crock of utensils (picture attached, cause I'm a nerd) and keep reaching for this weird looking spatula. I was cooking up something I'd frozen (and hadn't defrosted well) and the spatula is so strong it worked like a scaper as bits thawed and I scraped off. I keep grabbing this dang thing--even with a slew of options. While I haven't had any cross over flavor, I did decided to get 2 so I have one for sauces and stinky onion/garlic and one for baking.

So much easier than using a regular spatula to try to clean off the paddle!

Spatula is very heavy, very stiff and hard to use. It does NOT clean the beater like they show on the videos. About every 3rd time, you get one side of the beater clean. And it's a poor fit for the inner times of the beater. Don't buy this.

Very useful to get extra batter off the paddle.

Top quality and very well thought out design. I love the notches for the beater, bowl edges, and bowl hump. Pure genius.
