Extra Spool FX-500 WHY order an Extra Spool ??? ALL spools have 10 lb test line. The Spool is rated to accommodate from 10 lb test line up to an incredibly strong 28 lbs test line. If you are fortunate to discover a school of large fish and they are breaking you 10 lb test line. The perfect solution is to "pop out" the spool with 10 lb test line and then "pop in" the extra spool with say 20 lb test line. Don't let the "big one" get away.
