How do you know when the stuff expire?

Hi there. The kit includes a variety of items with various expiration dates. Wipes & bandages are 3 years from manufacture date, the cold compress is 4 years, and everything else is 5 years. Each first aid kit has a sticker with the expiration dates. Thanks. M
