Halo Top Black Cherry, 16 oz (Frozen)

Not my favorite flavor, but still good- make sure you let it melt a lot before eating. I wrote the Halo Top company and asked about what probiotic fiber they use- their response was that they use IMO- isomalt. Google it- Quest bars used to use it too, but there was a lawsuit. IMO does get metabolized by the body- some peer-reviewed scientific studies have shown that on average about 75% of the IMO is converted into glucose in the large intestine/colon so you are actually getting more calories than they state on the label.

I’ll be honest; I’ve never heard of this ice cream before. But I was at the store and some work-out guy was in front of me buying a few pints of these. So, hey, if the fitness guy likes it why wouldn’t I? I LOVE the black cherry flavor. I’ll be buying it all the time now.

If you're going to have ice cream, hopefully it tastes good. If not, why bother? I had to force myself to finish this stuff, it just tasted like flavored ice. Not thick or creamy or even sweet. More tart tasting. Will not buy again.

Halo ice cream. Disappointed. I expected great. It was average.

Not as good as Enlightened, when it comes to low carb, because not enough fiber ,but good enough.This is one of the best flavors you can get.Let it thaw a little to taste full flavor.

My husband is diabetic & has been searching for an ice cream type product he could eat once in a while.He loves this black cherry. Says it tastes just like real ice cream

No cherry flavor

This tasted like nothing. Not a great flavor. I like the Oatmeal Cookie, Candy Bar, Strawberry, Mint Chocolate Chip, and Chocolate Almond Crunch the best.
