Great option for those who don’t want to alter their OE radio or have a separate monitor on the dash. Works just as the original mirror did, put in reverse and the image comes on, looks good, does the job.

***UPDATE 08/20***Screen function still works. Auto darkening still doesn't work and still no response from the seller. I installed this mirror in the winter when it was cold out and it held up fine to snow and salt. Now that it is summer and hot the mirror itself wont stay in position. Due to the heat it slowly moves down and down until its at its lowest point. Very annoying that i cant use my rear view mirror because of that. I have to come up with a way to keep it in place. 1 STARMirror works great. Great quality. Install was very easy. OnStar actually works. Picture quality is great. My only issue is with the auto darkening doesn't work. I contact the seller 2 times with no response.

The mirror’s onstar functionality works as promised. Mirror came with two RCA wires, so not clear if you can have two cameras running at the same time. Description mentions sonar sensors but they do not come with this onstar replacement mirror. Overall looks great as an OEM mirror and mainly works as advertised!

The camera mirror installed easy (I researched the wiring prior to purchase) and has a nice, larger picture than other camera mirrors. My only complaint is the vibration in the mirror at times makes what's behind you harder to see (while driving, not viewing the backup camera). I'm not sure if it's due to me using the OEM windshield mount opposed to the one that came with the mirror, but if fit on the OEM so I saw no need to replace it.Update- Shortly after installing, the mirror stopped holding its position. At first it would slip after a week or so. Now it is slipping almost everyday. I’ve reached out to the manufacturer for replacement, will update if any additional resolutions are made.

I installed everything myself and have used it for almost a year now with no major problems electrically. When the sun heats the cab up the mirror sags and I constantly am adjusting the mirror to look behind in traffic. The stock mirror never did this. Do yo have a fix for this it's annoying?

I love this mirror. I inherited my parents 20 yr old car that is in immaculate condition but needed a back up camera, worked perfectly with the onstar capability.

Had this Mirror since Sept 2020. Thought everything was working great. I have been having parisitic battery drain and after months found out it was from this Mirror. It's not the screen functions. I was able to disconnect my camera setup and all power associated with it. I discovered the power drain is actually coming from the onstar controls. Not sure if mine is defective or if this is a standard issue with these mirrors. I have a 2016 Silverado LT Double Cab. Had to remove mirror and install original. Looking for a different option now. Sad because the idea is great and when the battery isn't dead, I love this feature.UPDATE:Wiring was not correctly labeled on mirror. Was able to get parisitic drain to stop. However, the adjustable mounts of the mirror are weak and it will not stay in position. It keeps sagging down and pointing to the floor.
