I’ve been using this 3% hydrogen peroxide to keep algae under control in my outdoor fountain, and it works perfectly. I add about 1/2 cup once a week to a fountain that holds around 10–11 gallons of water. Since starting this routine over a month ago, I haven’t had any issues with algae buildup—something that used to take over a few days without treatment. It’s a much gentler alternative to harsh chemicals, and the 1-gallon size is a great value. At this rate, it’ll last me quite a while. Highly recommend if you're looking for a simple, effective, and eco-friendlier way to manage algae.

I bought this to clean minor mold from the garage ceiling caused by a leak. I cleaned the mold away, then painted a couple of coats of Kilz. Then applied a couple of coats of ceiling paint. It worked perfectly. Then I learned that using a cup of hydrogen peroxide in the faabric softener dispenser in my washing machine made full white T-shirts super white in just one wash. It is also great for disinfecting anything stainless in the kitchen. Going forward I will always keep a supply of hydrogen peroxide on hand.
