I have 2 of these in scale rc aircraft cockpit. I run at 20mhz transmission and get plenty enough range, the unit runs cooler and transmitted video to my Goggles Integra is perfect! Love them. The only mod I suggest is to run a bead of B5000 glue to secure the mipi cable to the board, it's a known weak area, easy to do with care. Watch videos on YT for methods. I use a 40mm 11v fan to cool the unit inside the cockpit, they do run hot! If you do this, no problems at all. The lightweight and amazing video transmission is brilliant. Also if using in an aircraft with no flight controller, power it with a 12v 2 amp BEC or you'll get reduced range. Matek make superb small extenal BECs, perfect for this.

Amazon been great but DJI done terrible job. My unit was overheating like crazy with sensor contamination straight out the box! I love DJI but 04 Lite is absolute waste of money! Pay extra and get pro version!

An amazing tiny bit of kit for your FPV drone, replaced a much heavier Caddx vista in two of my smaller cinewhoops which has improved them greatly (better handling, longer flight times), plus I have a backup recording on them on the unit which isn’t bad. Means I can also use my N3 goggles which I prefer wearing than my others. A reasonable price as well given what it can do. It is a bit unprotected and fragile though, especially the camera cables so need to be mindful of that. You can get 3rd party metal cases for air unit and camera which might be worth it on some kit.

’m new to this type of product, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to use and how well it performed right from the start. Everything worked smoothly without any issues. Overall, a great first experience.

I have had two of these air units and both have failed, when I test the camera out of the frame there fine, soon as I put them in the Fpv frame they both stopped working. I wouldn’t buy this again or recommend this item to anybody

I love nothing more than ramming my wallet into a wall. They're expensive and not overly durable. But, the footage quality is unbeatable.

Love 04 world These are great video transmission systems. I now enjoy flying whoops! These can be used in everything though just make sure to wire them right and not straight to a dji jack putting out 9v. The cases on the market all work great for them and the footage is surprisingly usable! It’s a bit of a pain to get from the units but once gotten is definitely 4k. Definitely either get a case or print one and don’t just leave them out there naked unless they’re in a whoop or something built for them.
