High Quality New Copper Tun Heating Pad!

The product received does not look like the advertised image although I imagine the functionality is the same.

I'm updating my review from 3 stars to 5. The pad I received was a different brand than what is shown and my first trial with if was not a success. However I have used if several times since and it works perfect! I've been using if mostly for kombucha brews and it's helped immensely. My house is colder and it was taking months for my brews to ferment. With the heat pad, it takes a matter of days. Highly recommend!

Total waste of money. It melted the first and only time I turned it on. We were lucky the smell of our burning table top alerted us to the problem. Total junk

works well so far. this is my first time use under a five gallon carboy of wine.

it works fine but I think it needs to have a way to control temp.

Puts off slow, easy heat for my glass or plastic carboys.

It has met my needs well.

Simple, functional and just works. Using it with a thermostat with minimum insulation and keeping temperature well.

This hearing pad seems to working great. I don't know why I thought was going to be soft plastic, like the heating pads you use for a sore back, etc., but it's not. It's a hard plastic unit, around 12" square. My house is heated only by a wood pellet stove, so the kitchen gets pretty chilly in winter. I brew kombucha, so needed a way to keep my gallon jug of booch and my SCOBY Hotel both at fermenting temperature. I was having a very difficult time getting the brew warm enough to grow new SCOBY's, but I've got a new one forming already and it's only been a few days! Very happy with this!I'm not sure if a model exists that has temperature controls. That would definitely be a 'nice to have' feature, but this seems to be great with whatever the preset temperature is.
