This drill is a good tool to have.
Great drill, easy to use, battery operated, having level and stud finder all in on tool is a great design. I would recommend this especially if you only have a small tool storage place.

Good buy for the money.
Better drill than I expected. I use drills a lot for work and usually use the bigger names in the drill game but this one works well has good power and I like the stud finder. The lazer level is cool feature also.

This is the only drill you will ever need!
Amazing light weight functionable drill. Nice light to see what you're doing. Great battery life, awesome value extremely versatile with many settings and torque. My husband just wished it comes with a case. Used for hobbies and home fixing.

Well Balanced and Compact Drill with a lot of potential.
First let me say, that I was compensated for my time to provide this review, but my feedback is an honest reflection of my experience with the product. Positive: + I have owned this Dremel Blueprint Multi-Drill for a few days and I have already seen some features that make this unit very convenient to use as well as a few upgrades or changes I would make. + The positive starts with how compact the unit is and how well it has integrated the stud finder and bubble laser level into the device. Because of this integration, I don’t have to keep track of multiple tools when I am doing small projects (like recently when I hung a picture in my son’s room). + I am use to handling tools in a variety of sizes and they are not always easy to learn or share with new DIYers but that was not a concern I had with this Dremel Blueprint Multi-Drill. + Right out of the box, it was crazy easy to use for me and without direction I was able to give it to my wife and have her navigate it after just a few minutes. + Good power, light weight tool and it is balanced well which does not put much stress on my arm/hand when using it. The charge time for this drill was super quick and overall this would have been a great tool to have as I started as a DIYer or when I got my first apartment. Perfect size for small or compact jobs with the ability to work well for mid-sized build also. Opportunities: - There were 2 things that stood out as areas I would change or adjust based on my use of the Dremel Blueprint Multi-Drill and the first thing is the length of the adjustable clutch/locking sleeve. - This part of the drill sit just behind the integrated stud finder and depending on the angle of the screw your working on, this length could make driving the screw difficult with the included bits. I understand if the locking sleeve or hex drive was longer it might rub the wall when using the stud finder but that could be fixed by including a bit holder in the bit set (instead of having to get it separately). - The second drawback is that the stud finder does not disconnect from the device like the laser line does and that created a few issues for me. The integrated stud finder means you have to have enough space to accommodate the drill wherever you are looking to find the stud, and in tight spaces that was an issue. - The stud finder was more accurate than my stand alone stud finder but without being able to separate it from the drill, I have to charge the battery for the drill to ensure I have enough juice to find studs. = Overall I think the positive uses of the integrations (laser line, stud finder), which is the major selling point of this multi-drill, are a net positive for me.

Good option for new DIY enthusiasts
I gave the Multi-Drill 5 stars, but I don't think this drill is the best fit for everyone. First, this is really more of a driver than a drill. While the chuck accepts hex bits, the chuck isn't swappable, so you will need to use hex drill bits and not standard drill bits. This isn't a huge problem since hex drill bits can be found at any hardware store these days. You could also use something like the Make it Snappy system (which I highly recommend) to mount regular drill bits into hex connectors for this drill. I find I do most of my drilling this way since swapping hex bits is faster than swapping standard drill bits, so the lack of a Jacobs chuck for standard bits isn't a deal breaker. But if you do work where you need some precision in your drilling, you may want to also have a real drill anyway since hex bits have a tendency to wobble and have runout. The Multi-Drill is a better driver than a drill, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's really hard not to compare this to the Bosch GSR12V-300HX. Dremel is a division of the Robert Bosch Tool Corporation, and the two tools use the same 12V battery platform (albeit with different branding). Because of that relationship, there are several benefits to buying into Dremel's new Blueprint line: (1) there's a pretty robust family of compatible 12V tools you can explore, and (2) this isn't Bosch's first rodeo and the engineering and design is top notch. Bosch knows how to make a good drill. Relative to the GSR12V, the Multi-Drill has a couple of clear upgrades: brighter LED, the bit holder is push to insert, and it has a C-shape design. But it’s also a bit bigger: 1/2 a pound heavier, 1 inch longer, and 1 inch taller. It's also one variable speed (0-800 RPM), not two (0-460 and 0-1750), and has less torque. Since I've seen YouTube videos trying to explain the difference between the "1" and "2" numbers on a drill, it's easy to understand why they kept the Multi-Drill simple with a single "Goldilocks" 800 RPM speed setting and I don't fault them for that. The kit price for the GSR12V is $159 (MSRP) and that comes with a bag and two batteries. The Multi-Drill is considerably less expensive at $99 (MSRP) and comes with one battery and no bag, but you do get an integrated stud detector and laser level. It does fit in the Dremel and Bosch 12v soft tool bags, but you need to buy one separately. The laser level is removable, and I wouldn't be surprised if some makers start creating some other 3D-printed tools that you could tuck in the laser level slot. It's an unconventional design choice, but I like it. The stud detector isn't removable, and it's perhaps my one significant complaint because the tool is a bit bigger and heavier to accommodate a stud detector you won't always need. The stud detector and laser levels are good, but they also aren't anything to write home about. The Multi-Drill I received was made in China. In sum, I think this is a good tool for a new homeowner or a new DIYer and could be a gateway tool to the larger Dremel/Bosch 12V ecosystem. If the integrated stud detector isn't your cup of tea, I'd encourage you to check out the Bosch GSR12V-300HX (which I use on a regular basis). I'm really glad to see Dremel developing more 12V tools, which is a great form factor for DIYers, makers, woodworkers, and hobbyists.

Lightweight, Powerful & Easy to Use
I’ve been getting back into my creative groove and working on some small DIY projects around the house, and the Dremel Blueprint has honestly been a game changer for me. It’s lightweight but still super sturdy, and it makes me feel like I actually know what I’m doing even when I’m just figuring it out as I go. I’ve used it on a few things already, and I love how easy it is to handle. I’m not a pro or anything, just someone who’s reclaiming her space and finding joy in making things again. If you’re just getting started or picking your tools back up like me, this one’s a solid investment. "This product was gifted to me by the seller for testing and review purposes.
