It does work, but not very well and I kept getting a message that it wasn’t compatible with my iPhone 7.After going back I noticed that 41 of the 43 - 5 Star reviews were all on 24 June. It really looks like they paid for reviews...I’m just saying.

Is not supported by IPhone 8 plus running iOS 11.4. Absolutely useless for intended purpose of charging while using earbuds.

Iphone 8 does not support this product... I'm very disappointed, why advertise it if it doesn't support it.

Thought this product would be great & nifty. I ordered two of them, but separately, because I ordered one for my boyfriend who's in a different location than me right now. I plugged mine in to try out and the headphone jack worked, but the charging port didn't; my iPhone 8 said the accessory was not supported. My boyfriend, while on the phone with me, tried his as well, and his didn't work at all, from either port. This is a real pain in my butt now because though cheap, two of them total costed me almost 20 bucks, and only I can return mine now since he has the other one, so I would only be getting eight bucks back if I returned it anyway. I also don't even want to return it because there is no point, it doesn't work! I hate that I can't just get a refund & have to go through the stupid returning process for a product that doesn't even work. I'm very disappointed and pissed off. Waste of money. Find a different adapter. Amazon, take this horrible one off the site!

This product arrived and we decided to try it out ,but with no success. It would not charge nor would the headphones work when plugging them in . Before sending them back we decided to try the headphones in the jack on the cord that was labeled for charging and it worked . We tried the jack that was labeled on the cord for headphones for charging and it worked for charging. Apparently during manufacturing they got the labels reversed on the cord , at least on this one. May be worth a shot before sending back. Not sure about the durability at this point.

When it very intermittently works, the sound and a great, however 99% of the time the ‘accessory is not supported’. I have an iPhone 8 which the description states should work. It does not.

I use this constantly when I travel (which is sometimes weekly). This work great! Sometimes when I plug it into my iPhone a message pops up that says 'accessory not supported' but it works every time! Makes watching a movie and charging phone at the same time a breeze. Highly recommend! If you travel it is a must have!

it works at first, and after a few times using it I keep getting the message that it is not compatible with my i phone 7, then after a month it just stops working, where my coworker was like uhm your music is coming out of your phone. Not cool. Also, the return window just closed on me and now I am screwed out of $10. Not worth the money at all, find a better made product. Also, when I bought the item it had a almost 5 star rating, and now its 2. not sure where that came from, but its a scam.
