This fan worked well as a replacement and I recommend it with only a few words of advice
This fan worked well as a replacement and I recommend it with only a few words of advice.Make sure you order the correct fan. There are several different bore sizes and styles available, so take your time to check your old unit out before ordering. Second, try to figure out which way the old blade spins. I made the mistake of ordering the wrong rotation and thus had to take the extra step of switching the polarity of my wires on the fan motor. Finally, this fan fits very snugly to the motor shaft. I found it installed easier after I sprayed some silicon into the bore of the fan.

Great value/product.
Changing my review. The prob was a lose wire in my ceiling. This light/fan works great. Strong air flow, bright light that adjust perfectly. It’s an excellent value for the price.

Easy fix. Took longer to get to the blade than it was to replace it
Easy to replace. Admittedly, I looked up how to do it before I proceeded so it made it go really easy. Wow, it must have taken all of 20 minutes to remove the handle, the screen and the broken blade before installing the new blade and putting everything back!

Exact Match Stove Fan
Exact match, cost more then the round version (which will work). This was for a stove top fan. Please note, reach up and hold back of fan motor or remove motor with bracket, yes it is a small space but I was able to get my hand up there. I also used a small wood mallet hammer to tap center of blade onto shaft, much easier the pushing with thumbs. Fan blade is a tight fit. Works fine and is quite. If you are not sure of direction of motor spin, after installation of new blade, turn it on, light a match and blow it out and watch smoke direction. If done correctly, smoke from match will go up and out.

Worked great, with some tinkering
RV fans are made from weak plastic and as soon as they hit something hard like a pebble or twig they will shatter into a million pieces. Such is the story of my last fan this replaced.Be careful though as there are several different styles of bore that these fit on and different directions of rotation (clockwise, counter) to choose from in RV fans. Mine was exactly the opposite of this one. This rotates counter clockwise and has a "D" shaped bore. I was able with enough force to get it onto the round shaft of my motor. The problem then is it would rotate the wrong way when the motor was running. I figured this out before climbing back down by looking at the pieces of the old fan blade.A simple swap of the DC lines going to the motor allow this one to spin in the "correct" direction I needed. You CAN'T just flip the fan blade over - that still spins the fins the wrong direction. Changing the DC polarity made it work and I'm happy with the product.

Correct description for exact replacement
It is an exact replacement for my 2007 Elixer roof vent fan. The description was correct so that was helpful to get the right replacement the first time. Thank you
