Families favorite salsa
I need to start a recovery group for Mateos salsa. I am addicted to this, and so is the rest of my family. They do have a variety of flavors as well as varying levels of heat. We love the medium, enough heat for those that like spice, and not too much for those that don't like it on the wild side.

Best salsa
Mateo’s salsa is the best. Not too hot and garlicky!

The Best Store Bought Salsa - Featured at Costco
This is without a doubt the best salsa we have found. It is very flavorful with garlic and spices that are so tasty. We first found this brand as a special display in Costco. However, when we went back to buy more, it was SOLD OUT! We went crazy trying to find it again - but Costco sells out quickly. We bought through Amazon (4 ea 2-packs) and 2 jars were broken - Based on what I saw, they packaging was lacking. Amazon made it right; but the vendor needs to do a better job of packaging. It is worth the risk to buy from Amazon if Costco is out.... which they often are. Nothing beats homemade, but this is a close runner up!

Great Salsa, but jar had been opened
I absolutely love this salsa and was very excited to receive it. Of the 2 jars I received, one had been opened already and I can't return it. I don't know how long the seal has been compromised, but I don't trust it and will need to toss it in the trash.

The Flavor I have been searching for.
Delicious! This salsa has texture but is not chunky. It is tomato based, and expertly seasoned with peppers, garlic, cilantro and just the right amount of cumin. It's tangy, but not tart or sour. It's perfect, of course, with chips, but also excellent over eggs and potatoes, or heated to make chilaquiles. Sooooo dang good!
