Not sure if you got my answer my mob seems to do what it wants. Size's are 50cm to 75cm. Or 20" to 30" there are 6 Size's in total all I can suggest for age is you will need to measure the child. Hope this helps. I must say they are gorgeous. Happy knitting

Which aran wool is recommended for this pattern

These patterns are not new and many call for yarns which are no longer available. This was was designed using Snow Goose All Wool Aran which is now discontinued. However it was a standard weight Aran so you can alter easily, and of course these days all wool is not usually preferred as it would be hand wash only.

What sizes does this go up to 7215 7yr of age

As is usual now patterns go on sizes rather than ages. 7215 goes from Chest sizes 20" (50cms) to 30" (75cms) so it depends what size your 7yr old is.

How much yarn does each jumper take to knit?

re pattern 7215. They are not both jumpers - one is a jumper and the other a cardigan. The quantity varies for the each size. Using 100gm Aran both take the following: Chest size 50cms - 3 balls Chest size 55cms - 4 balls Chest size 60cms - 5 balls Chest size 65cms - 6 balls Chest size 70cms -7 balls Chest size 75cms - 8 balls So it depends on which size you want to make (The hat takes 1 ball x 100gm)

Fairly easy pattern to follow

Fairly easy to follow but cannot make sense of last row on back of cardigan and have had to make it up. I did take advice from a professional knitter who also couldn't make sense of it so made it up myself. It would have also been better to have a tape measure printed on the pattern
