MRTLLOA Inverted Umbrella, 40/49/56 Inch Windproof Double Layer

I’m very happy with this umbrella. It’s sturdy, easy to open and close, and the inverted design keeps the water inside, which is very convenient when getting into the car. The C-shaped handle makes it comfortable to carry, even when my hands are full. It also holds up well on windy days. Overall, it’s a great quality umbrella for the price, and I would definitely recommend it.

I love this umbrella. It’s easy to use and I get to see the pretty flower. It’s sturdy and a good size. It’s great for getting in and out of the car. It appears to be of good quality and it is wind resistant.

My daughter has been using this umbrella for about a year. It has a small tear in one spot, but overall it is a good, sturdy umbrella with a beautiful design. It folds inside out, unlike a regular umbrella, so water doesn’t drip all over the floor when you bring it indoors. This feature is very convenient.

The design of these "reverse umbrellas" is worth considering if you need a new umbrella. I commute by car and having this design makes getting into and out of a car SO MUCH BETTER than a conventional umbrella. This umbrella closes outwards keeping the collected rain away from you, and controllable, so you don't get drenched when pulling your wet umbrella into the car (as has happened too often with the conventional kind). Also, because it comes down over you from above when you open it, it is less likely to snag someone nearby when you put it up. A third benefit is that it can stand freely on its tips when it is closed. Because the umbrella has two layers of fabric (the outer design, when closed, ends up on the inside of the open umbrella), this umbrella has extra support when it's windy. I've been in significant gusts with this umbrella (enough to feel like the wind would pull the umbrella out of my hand) and the umbrella easily took them in stride. The handle's shape is useful, too. It can circle your wrist when you are carrying things against your chest, allowing you to keep some control of the umbrella. And it's easily stored on a hook, when not standing on its own in the corner. This particular umbrella was well made - except for the velcro on the end of the strap that wraps the umbrella when closed, which was misaligned with trailing thread. It appears that it didn't come under the sewing machine accurately and got past quality control... Other than that, this is as good an umbrella as I've had. (I've had two others of this reverse design and will never go back to a conventional design. I gave the first away to my daughter who wouldn't give it back, and then bought a second, and subsequently lost the second one. Neither of those were broken.) The only reason I'd consider a conventional umbrella is for a wider diameter. This one is more than adequate for one (or for two walking close together), but if you need a wider one, I haven't seen one larger in this reverse umbrella design.

I live on the coast, and I had sworn off umbrellas. There was practically no such thing as a rainy day without wind that eats even the most ridiculous golf umbrellas for breakfast. Well whoever invented this thing has my undying gratitude. This thing has kept my head dry in gales that knocked down full trash cans. This is my second one. My first one is fine. I was just tired of me and my kid fighting over whether he got to take it to school or I got to take it.
