It does exactly what you need it to do and it has the flexibility to handle a more complicated setup as it has two cold shoe mounts. I mounted both a small light and mic to get better sound and it worked great. The side mount can be turned to either side to best fit your phone. And of you don’t need it, you can remove it so it is smaller and simpler and lighter.A few features that make it useful.There is a ¼-20 mount on the bottom so you can mount it to a light stand, tripod, or any compatible ¼-20 thread for a locked down shot or even use with a gimbal.The phone grip opens from 2.1 inches (54mm) to 3.7 inches (95mm) so it fits most smartphones.You can of course mount your phone to take video like it is a video camera or turn on your front facing camera and you can shoot yourself with a light and better mic than your phone has built it.And the Bluetooth trigger works great to activate either video or photos. It makes the triggering the phone easy with one hand. Just pair it with your phone and it just works. I had no issues pairing or making it work with either my iPhone 7 or XS.My only issue was with the double ended screw that mounts it all together. I noticed that I had to loosen that part if the phone grip tightening nut at the bottom felt stuck. Not a big deal, and once I figured that out it was easy to align the side mounted cold shoe to either side as needed.Overall, it’s a solid little hand grip for your phone. Easy to use. And that remote trigger makes it worth the price as it makes it super simple to shoot pictures and video.

The modular design of this product makes it very easy to build a creative filmmaking rig for your mobile phone. It has threads on the top and bottom of each component to link with something like a tripod or light. It also has the extension arm which has a hotshoe to attach a microphone or other device.Then you can combine two of them together to have a 2 point system which helps immensely with steady b-roll footage. I am a travel vlogger and sometimes I really don't want to cart around my digital SLR, this is a perfect accessory for me to take with me that is lightweight and versatile! When I received this product and took it out the box I was happy off the bat. The material was solid. Holds my phone with no issue. I love the rubber grip. I love that I have 2 cold shoe mounts that I can put a light and mic. This is a great grip to run and gun with. I love that the bottom has a tripod mount screw. I paired it with my mini manfrotto tripod and it was perfect for desktop use. I am so happy with this purchase. I will be having so much use for this. Fit my S10+ plus with no issues and my iPhone 11 Pro Max with ease. Love that everything secures and I dont have to worry about my expensive equipment. I highly recommend this product to anyone.

Love all the ways you can use this to build it up customize placement for ware you want your camera, lights, mic, ect. Great quality, easy and fast set up, the holder for the camera the shoe cradle I think is called opens up allot it's going to always fit what you're using. Best of all you can use any of your existing tripods, assesories like lights, mic ect, you don't have to go out any buy all new stuff. I have lots of different models of tripods lights cameras mic they all work perfectly. This is a must have, you can put it on tripod or use like selfie stick. Endless ways to use it and customize it. I highly recommend this seller and product.

The VF-H4 is a really well made solid handle grip that mounts perfectly on top of any tripod.This thing is SOLID heavy and well made. I was easily able to add a light and external microphone to the rig.This piece will really help you to create much less shaky cell phone footage at a much higher quality level. It performs as advertised.The Bluetooth connector paired easily with my Iphone x and worked flawlessly with the standard camera app on the iphone.The only major problem I had with the bluetooth remote is that it is not compatible with 3rd party camera apps like Filmic Pro. Otherwise it is the perfect rig.

The fact that this is just a small part of a bigger 'rig' is amazing for other formats like DSLR of GoPro. Works great in this configuration for the iPhone.

Very easy to use and does exactly what it's supposed to. It's held up fine the past few weeks and is very sturdy. A little bit heavy, but not too bad. Especially if you mount this on a tripod as I do, then it's no issue. I would recommend this brand for this product!

Ok product has its pros but not one of my best purchases

The mount that holds my phone is made of plastic and broke within a few minutes of assembly. Not happy :( Really wanted it for use this weekend.
