LG Revere® 3

My mother in law drove over her cell phone she just brought from Verizon. It was to big and apparently fell out of her pocket when she got home and the next day she drove over it. She only likes flip phones and they are short in supply, we found this one and she loves it. It is just the right size and fits perfectly in her pocket. The buttons are the right size and the screen is large enough for her to see.

So I purchased this phone on May 2nd, and by Aug 10th the top half of the phone had completely shorted out. No display. No, I didn't drop the phone, no water on the phone, no damage whatsoever. It just quit working. I have had GREAT luck with LG phones in the past lasting me years. Not this one! Now I am hesitant to buy any LG phone.

Great little affordable basic phone. Small and feels good in your hand. Plus you can do a lot with it: talk, text, email, camera and web etc. I liked it so much, I went back and bought a 2d one as a future backup. As a guy, I don't like big bulky phones in my pocket, Don't want to sit on an expensive smart phone in my back pocket or damage it. This slim small one fits perfect in my Levis jeans front right coin change/watch pocket. Excellent audio, pics and video as well. Long life battery too. Does what you want for around $50 new, plus I use Verizon at $40 monthly rate. I get what I basically want, the ability to make and receive clear audio calls in and out and those quick text messages. So overall, very happy with it. I have my iPad and desktop computer at home, if I want more, but generally don't need that much. BUY IT !!! No regrets for sure ...

A rugged little pocket phone with more features than usual for this type of phone, the only real drawback is there is no way to get the pictures off the phone onto the computer directly. So what I did is send the pictures to my wife's cell phone and then from there directly to the computer..There is a post on the net about this and looks good but I could not make it work as it requires a down load of a program which is OK except I could not get it to work.

The LG Revere 3 Verizon flip phone is a good replacement for the older flip phones which had the prepaid 90 day accounts . It has allowed me to continue in a plan that has worked for me for over 10 years It allows me to extend the time and keep leftover minutes. The LG Revere 3 is very similar to the original flip phone which I had. I would recommend it as a replacement device if you have an older phone/voice only plan that you wish to maintain.

I really like this phone and I love the LG brand. Simple to use, reliable, good looking, and of course, inexpensive. There are two things. I didn't get a user manual for this phone so I have to go online to figure out some features. Second, I wish LG would put in a block caller feature on this phone. I get a lot of spam phone calls and as a Pay-as-you-go customer, it can get costly. Great phone, but please put in block caller feature. Maybe, there is one on the phone, but I haven't figured it out or I have to buy an app, I don't know. I have to check MY USER MANUAL WHICH I DIDN'T GET!

Purchased phone for my elderly mother. Phone worked well for 3 1/2 - 4 months. Stopped being able to charge. Seller stated was unable to accept a return because it was past Amazon's return window. Suggested I try purchasing a new battery. Very disappointed battery life didn't last longer without a longer guarantee for return due to malfunction.

I got this for my daughter after the dog chewed her phone up. All she needed was a good sturdy phone for communication. This has worked out well. There was no trouble connecting to my verizon account and she has been using it for several weeks with no problems. I especially liked that it did not cost a fortune.
