Big Sound and noticeable power
The media could not be loaded. This K&N cold air intake completely changed the feel of my 2025 Ram 1500 with the Hurricane motor. Installation was a breeze with clear instructions, and it fit perfectly. The moment I fired it up, I could actually hear the turbos spool—it adds an exciting new personality to the truck. Throttle response is noticeably quicker, acceleration feels smoother, and it even cleans up the engine bay with a much nicer, more performance-oriented look. Between the improved sound, sharper response, and great fit and finish, this is hands down one of the best upgrades you can do for the Hurricane.

Sooo good!!!
This is the BEST! Well worth the $ as a matter of fact it’s a bargain. The quality is far superior than the other familiar brands, and the looks are again 2nd to none. The sound is certainly improved and present, only when you accelerate, you hear those turbos breathing like Darth Vader. Can’t really tell if the HP is improved mainly because this Hurricane HO engine is crazy powerful already! Regardless if the HP claims are accurate the looks and the sound is more than I expected. There were some washers missing I called up K&N and they not only shipped the parts the next day, but loaded me up with swag. The fact that you can call them and speak to people that care about what they do and how their customers enjoy their rides, is sadly today an exception to the way most companies operate. Can’t say enough good stuff about this product and these people. As far as Air Map Sensor issues, never had 1 issue arise, no codes, no funky idling, none of it. As of now I have approximately 1000 miles on the kit.

READ THIS WARNING! - 2025 Ram 1500 SST HO Motor
DO NOT BUY unless you plan to do a full tune on the car! Pics posted showing the check engine light and the codes it triggered after 30-50 miles of driving (too lean - too mch air, not enough fuel - so a tune is necessary or you WILL blow your motor!). I cleared the code multiple times and even checked the MAF sensor for any possible oil residue from the filter as they might clog the MAF, and still nothing. Verified that there are no vacuum leaks either. Also the hardware they give you is absolutely JUNK and doesn't even fit the product. The clamp that holds the intake tube to the air filter is way too big and you will need to buy a replacement from a local hardware store. In addition, the cheap materials K&N is using for the coupler and the coupler that connects to the turbo inlet tube had a huge tear on it upon arrival.Overall this entire kit took months to arrive, just for it to be an absolute piece of junk! Returned immediately after contacting K&N and they had no solution to the problem as it was still a "new product". Theres literally nothing they can do, besides giving you some sort of hardware for the tune, so i don't know what "trouble shooting" they wanted to do at the cost of my motor! If i could give this a 0 star from the horrible release to the botched support, i would do so. And i'm never one to leave reviews, but the constant back and forth with the install and uninstall was absurd.

You Can Hear the Turbo Whistle!
I was really excited to install this for my 2025 Ram 1500 SST but, as I was 90% finished with the install, there was just one hose clamp that was too small and didn’t have enough grooves to clamp the filter all the way to the intake tube inlet (see attached image). That was frustrating because I would have had to uninstall it and reinstall the factory intake or just sit around and wait for who knows how long for K&N to send one that fit. I ended up just going to a local supplies store and got one that fit perfectly for about $5.The turbo whistle is the best part of the sound. It doesn’t have the typical intake grunt/grumble but you can hear it subtly at lower RPMs.I can’t really tell if there’s a difference in performance so I’ll just have to take K&Ns word for it.It’s a bit pricey for an intake, considering their competitor’s (S&B) is cheaper. Ultimately, I’m happy with it!

2025 Ram 1500 cold air intake
I love K&N products, so of course I had to install this cold air intake on my 25 Ram 1500. Wanted to compare this and the S&B intake, but they haven't released it yet. So buying this one was a no brainer. Installation was straight forward. Only issue I had was that I installed the MAF sensor upside down, so I had to take it all back out and flip it around. Be ware of that. Other than that, everything fit, everything was included, it arrived in 3 days, could not be happier. You can def hear it working, and truck seems to be a little more responsive

Poor quality
The quality used to be way better on K&N, for the price you pay the quantity is poor, the holes in the air box looked like they were drilled with a very dull drill bit, I'm not impressed what so ever, the cost is insane for what you get! Far better products out there I wanted the S&B cold air but it wasn't available for my 25 ram yet.
