So good to hear this album as it should be!
I'm a big Steve Hackett fan since 1981, and when this album came out in '86 I ordered it straight away. This was about the time of "Invisible Touch" released by his old band. I have to say I was disappointed, not by the songs or musical arrangements, but by the poor, "tinny" production of the vinyl LP.This remastered CD is so much better, how it should be. I have it my car now and love to hear those familiar tracks and be able to identify whether Hackett or Howe is playing and enjoy it so much better. Although not so "proggy" as you may think, it has elements of Hacketts solo work ( eg: "When The Heart Rules The Mind" has a riff that sounds very much like " Everyday " ), and lots of " Yes " phrasings, it does not disappoint at all. If you buy this, don't forget to buy the live CD aswell, it's got a re-arranged "Spectral Morning's" on it!

A must buy for all Steve Hackett and Howe fans
I've been looking for this album on CD for years to replace the well worn vinyl one bought in the eighties. It's powerful vocals and guitar riffs reminiscent of the likes of Asia and Rainbow but with interesting classical guitar solos as well, which makes the tracks stand out as different to the average rock album. Anyone who likes Genesis or Yes will probably know the solo work of Messrs Howe and Hackett but GTR is quite different. However, their charcteristic styles marry well together and produce some stunning tracks. I just wish they had produced more GTR albums.
